everything else is a joke.

Before going to microstock I never worried about noise. Now I run all my photos thru Noise Ninja before submitting...

Yes, I was contacted by cs rep.

I have been microstocking for just couple months and two agencies closed down. Is this a beginning of a trend? Is this a time for smaller players to consolidate or still there is a room for new ones?

So what's this Personal Archive? Storage place for photos? When I signed to PSC they were nagging me to upgrade my account. It's good that I did not decide to do this.

Hmm, somebody still working there. Today I got email from customer service that they got my DVD and will start reviewing my photos :-)

It should not matter how many pictures are in queue, it should not matter how many are in batch. Reviewer should see pictures as end-user does, randomly from different contributors and judge them one at the time. This how it should be in ideal world but I agree that in reality large batches or series are disadvantageous.

Once I reached $500, number of downloads went down by 30%. Is this typical?

Better. Can you somehow reducing spacing below "main menu" and below oval frame?

Frankly, it looks cluttered. This new skin wastes a lot of space on a top and sides so there is no advantage of having higher resolution.

According to earnings poll all top 6 sites are down and those pathetic sites like Crestock, SnapVillage and Mostphotos are on the raise. I haven't seen any action there for last 3 months.

Sounds like right. I haven't uploaded anything to StockXpert for couple days and sales seem to slow down...

I wish I got delivery confirmation when I sent it. It seem I shoot my DVD into void. I will wait 1 more week and ask them if they received it :-)

There is nothing like "lack of composition". Composition is like weather, it can be bad or good but never does not exist :-)

I know SS search favor new pictures so you have to keep uploading regularly to be visible. Do you think other sites got similar search algorithms?

Try to get to SS (and all top 6). Depending on type of photos you submit different one might be your best earner. For me SS works best maybe cause majority of my photos are nature and landscapes.

Random order of pictures would be most beneficial for photographers but most boring for reviewers. Now that can entertain themselves by sending whole batches to void.

I started in May so I am one month ahead of you. In general I would agree with most of your comments.
SS is the only site with payout for me so far. I reached 2000 DLs in August.
I might reach minimums on 123RF and StockXpert this months so it takes around half a year to get anything on these sites.
FT and BS are mostly useless,
DT much better but very slow earner.
IS takes around 7-10 days to review 15 photos. I do not bother to resubmit cause it would take from my available upload slots. Would not be nicer if I just can correct keywords and resubmit?

I would say option 2 is worth trying. Then try to clear FF private data. You might loose all stored password, cookies, etc. It's still less than reinstalling Firefox.

It's beta, in other words a preview. When it hits 1.0 we can compare it to anything else out there.
