For me, it all depends on whether I get any good value Getty sales. I got two this month, so Sept is my 3rd best month of the year: but my third worst September ever, after 2008 and last year.

You can opt to claim yourself (it's not difficult but it's fairly time-consuming - OTOH you can add any sales from other sources if you can find relevant in-uses, and after the first time, you're just adding on future years' info, or you can let Alamy do it for you for which I think they take their usual 50% (I'm sure the details will be somewher on the Alamy site).
I understand, I had a fast read on the site but I was not asking the right question. What I would like to know is which of my images were used on books, magazines....?
Do you sell RM? If so, it's in your sales history. If RF, I don't know, maybe Alamy has that info (?)

This is incorrect information - the upload freeze is never longer than 10 days .
That has changed, then (I'm glad to hear). It's been years since it happened to me and it was either a month or 28 days.
Upload freezing was bought in around 2 years ago and has always been set at 10 days.
You may be getting mixed up with our previous system which never had an upload freeze but there was a delay in the result notification of up to 28 days. Long gone now though so I just wanted to clarify that.

I'm not sure how much the QC rank counts for anything, but maybe someone knows better.
A lot of things on Alamy don't actually count for anything, e.g. 'discoverability' (causes more harm than good).

They don't take iPhone pics but they do sell them via Stockimo. However, don't mention Stockimo on the Alamy forum unless you want to be jumped on from a height, and AFAIK, there isn't a Stockimo forum. And it's only for iPhone, not Android etc.
But indeed, you don't get anywhere by questioning their policies.
I've been years trying to get one particularly egregious policy re-evaluated and am getting nowhere. Like most, they're right even when they're shown to be wrong.

There are several bits changed to more readable English. The "high volume low unit price licences. " looks new. What if you're selling Rights Managed? Would imagine they can't sell RM images, or editorial as bulk, not as easily anyway?

We should get at least 50% royalty from our creations' sales. Don't you agree? Some companies pay ridiculously low rate ripping off us creators.
You can choose to sell only at these agencies which give us 50%, but you have your own reason/s for choosing not to do so. There's your answer. Clue: I've chosen to submit only to Alamy for the past 2.5 years, but I'm still earning more via iS on my existing port. You presumably find that unacceptable. We each have our own line of what we'll put up with.

I think everyone's number will be similar. Most are somewhere between .60 -.70.
You'll get a better variance with RPI.
Do I want more variance for some reason? Not sure if you are saying, this would show the quality of my work, which is quite variable, as are the types and subjects, or what RPI means to the group as a whole? If you mean to compare, for example, your RPI to mine, yes, I'd say that would be interesting. I'd bet yours is better.
RPI on its own is totally meaningless ROI is what really matters ;-).
RPI/year makes more sense.
The only measure which is useful is profit/loss per image or batch, but that's far more difficult to work out accurately and is over the lifetime of the file. Just knowing return is pretty meaningless as we don't know how much was spent on it. I suspect we often don't want to know, even for files where no 'extra' expenses have been made so it's just time and share of/depreciation of hardware.

Just submitted a batch of videos of a crop duster over a cotton field. Nothing special. No logos on the plane. Pretty straight forward. Got the videos back for revision with a request for a property release. Now... Can't really understand if these clowns want a property release for the crop duster or the cotton field. Dear lord... Is there no limit to the incompetence of iStock reviewers???
Went through your clip frame by frame and I could see no markings or other logos or what have you.
Conclusion ~ resubmit if you can

HOWEVER!
You said you submitted a batch and other clips showing this crop duster you can clearly see the aircraft registration number 4X-AFC which will get the clip rejected.

Unlike Uncle Pete, my observation (from the outside) is that SS tends to be more lax about IP than iS, sometimes seriously lax.

Happened to me, and my site went up after a day or two without me having to connect them. If yours isn't up by Monday, you'd need to see what they say. I don't actually like that system of having it on an auto-pay which isn't a DD or SO, but at the time I joined, I couldn't find an alternative. Good luck getting it sorted.

The last communication I have from FAA in my mailbox is about some sale
Couple of weeks since then I wanted to submit a new work and got the following message
This account is closed. If you would like to re-enable it, please contact our technical support department by filling out the form
The support is not answering for about a week.
If there other people having the same problem?
Was FAA or me personally hacked?

Sorry, that's a 'how long is a piece of string' question. It depends a lot on your skills and port, but also a bit on luck in being well placed in algorithms (though that's where spreading your assets mitigates the risk).

If they ask for advice when they only have 20 images, and if they take the advice, they could go on to do well. We all had to start somewhere. (That's a general observation, not specific to SS)
Of course, we all did BUT my problem is with SS suddenly lowering the bar. Its like letting peo0le enter university that didnt pass their exams. And add all those small ports together and we have millions of images. A few years ago they had standards and it took me about 3 or 4 attempts to get n with my best images.
Seems like many damaging things iS do, SS want to copy. And to some extent, vice versa.
