I was just uploading some pics to Depositphotos. When I was trying to submit an image, I got a red text saying "Please correct errors below: Title - (min length 6 chars)"
What the... My title was 5 characters. I can't understand why there has to be a limit like this, it just doesn't make any sense...?
What other strange "quirks" does other sites have that you would like to get rid of?

OK so you win nothing except the right to say you won and if you want... "I told you so". If people want to add a prize on their own, that's nice.
But come on - Wanna Play A Game?
Closest to the official time announced by SS, 20,000,000 on the home page of SS.
Here's my pick. Feb 27th 8:00 AM
 20 Million!
With how many zeros you want to submit to play this gamble game?

Wow another lighting speed in rejection. Guess what. ALL 7 footage files which are waiting 9 months are rejected. This always happens when you touching the sht with stick. Stinky smell spreads very fast to environment. I just feel anger of just waken IS video bear reviewer from its winter hibernation. Cute fact is that I send HD, NTSC and PAL version of same file as same batch and somehow I screwed PAL files at 24.97 fps while NTSC and HD files are OK and they reject correct files. --------------- "Dear Suljo, We regret to inform you that we cannot accept your submission, entitled (IS Bear woke from winter hibernation) for addition to the iStockphoto library for the following reasons:
The PAL version plays at 24.97 fps, however proper PAL plays at 25 fps. This conversion error caused the processor to not fully process the file resulting in it not appearing in the Queue." ------------
I can just imagine how hard thing was to for just waken hibernated reviewer to just unmark or delete or erase this PAL version of file. Where was mind too to upload PAL and NTSC versions grrrrrrrrrrrr who da hack buying this formats today?? --------------- Wow at the end of mail is cute sentence too. "Once the above issue(s) with this video have been rectified, we will be happy to review it again for addition to our library. Please be sure to address ALL of the above issues prior to resubmission." ---------------
Again?! when? in next decade, in which century or afterlife?!.
NO THNX
I will never play with sht and sticks... and I will never wake up bears from hibernation...
Anyhow if buyer hypotheticaly buy my PAL version @ 24,97 fps file. Will his computer monitor explode or something worse than that will happen to him?

Wow locked with lighting speed thats was fast Where he was been all this 9 months? ------------------------ Admin "visproquo" answered We advise all contributors to file a support ticket when files have not been inspected for a very long time as they can in rare instances not appear in the inspection Queue. 9 months would qualify. I notice a support ticket filed today. Your missing files will be addressed by mid-week. I would ask you to keep the colourful language to a minimum in the forums, thanks. http://www.istockphoto.com/forum_messages.php?threadid=340279&page=1-------------------------------- I will post here how loooooong his mid-week will be (I am curious too ) I liked how he sad "colorful language"

Poor Saga begins not reviewed since 20/04/2011 finally I posted it to their "slow" lock thread forum and also to they wannabe support. ------------------- Hi Well any of my logic explode in my head. I submit 7 video/footage from 20/04/2011 to 29/04/2011, and they are not reviewed jet??? Hope that you can figure it up that today is end of first month of year 2012. because I dont know when you will somehow answer to me. What da hell you are doing?! (As I see nothing). How can anybody do any kind of business with this kind of totally ignorance from you side? 9 months to review 7 short movie files?! what This message I send to you let say "support" but Im concerned for any helpfull kind of answer in another month/s period so I post it here. Maybe someone more serviceable will hear it faster and solve my problem. Problem name is. PLS Dignify yourself and review my 7 footages which are 9 months on pending list. http://www.istockphoto.com/forum_messages.php?threadid=340279&page=1(I share this link above how all you can see in which speed this link will be locked or removed in they unwillingly basket) --------------------------- As you see my 7 footage files are now on 9 month pending list for review on this incapable but grredy site, files have 1 to 2 views in my post but without any acceptance or rejections?! It is very sad for site who claims few years ago that have 60-70% market share in MicroStock video business. For now it is only pieces of dust...

@ collis From all blindness above I see that the only option for us Dune authors is to take withdrawal option more often before Envatos account runs dry in upcoming sues.
man look at my post on 4th page
ORDER/COMMAND to you reviewers or inspectors to go through all marketplace items and put all possible "gray" infrigment items on soft rejections. When authors edit and update they items and "gray" preview files with appropriate releases and new previews then you approved they items for sale again.
I dont know what is so hard you to understand what you authors are doing in way of presenting they work but I know for sure if I do what they do and submit this kind of work to other stock places Ill be immediately kick from this sites without any warnings to change or disable file or something. While your copyright behavior is less rigorous than on the various "rapid, mega, share" pirate sites!!!
Is Envato stock company or share company?

I don't see how at this point Envato can get a hold of this problem.
They would have to disable all content and review everything from scratch to make sure they are "clean".
It's "un....
.....ith.
Envato made a huge mistake. They should take responsibility and man up to get their collection sorted out.
I will be OK if they are willing and know what to do especially now when they have so much reviewers in action while peek of uploading is reached out. Few years ago BigStock go through all they files and edit bad keywords one by one when they had collection of 1 or 2 million images and do it in one week or two. (isnt all Envato collection similar size as BigStok few years ago even half smaller because of rapid growth of PhotoDune which is lets say clean of copyright) They biggest problem is they old products on they other sites. P.S. So Envato spit in your hands and rub them. Fasten reviewers to their chairs and connect them to an infusion or whatever. In one week I want all to be clear of nasty naughty stuff... Cmon Envato you can do it...

Just to highlight a very important note - that was in your blog post but I thought was worth mentioning here: you are paying contributors their regular royalties throughout this promotion.
Great to see that PhotoDune is (a) running a promotion to encourage purchases during what is typically a slow month and (b) that promotion expenses are being borne by the agency as a marketing expense.
Let's hope this makes for a busy January!
This kind of thinking is familiar with mine. While IS smacks made this kind of promotions with our royalty cuts to in that promotions.

^^ What's "best" or "inferior" is all perception. There are plenty of images that "pro" contributors would scoff at as inferior that sell like crazy. So as long as what's on the first couple of pages of search resuts is "good enough" it will probably sell. ----------> That's true, and if they can find it cheaper somewhere else they will go there.
But that's the point.
It's exclusive content. It isn't anywhere else.
"Exclusive" content in RF world has no sense at all. It is just delusion for buyers and exclusive contributors...

JoAnn - what is your point? I apologize for missing the size of the portfolio on SS and DT...but you're just splitting hairs. My point is exactly the same. How can morphart give advice concerning lost IS income to SS gain-with JUST 17 files on iStock?
I certainly wish sodafish the best but I wouldn't expect income to be made up anytime soon.
For some or most of us truth matters. What iSt-oka want to I believe is not powerfull enough to convince me in they greedy *insult removed* game. Maybe you were in right time in right place and avoid touching TipToes but most of us are not. I really dont understand why you advocate this *insult removed* just from you own horse glasses perspective? Dont worry be happy and start practicing Salute to Sun exercise in new year. Ill been watching you, to how you delusion/s will evolve thru next year.

I might have to try Envato again. Couldn't get one thing accepted on Graphic River it's a PITA. I might have to check it out to see what else I could do in that marketplace.
Try some pottery work

How anybody knows how it works. (I mean this fckin slider in different browsers)
Sorry I dont know how to qwote myself Quote from: sjlocke on Yesterday at 04:30 Well, for every buyer who can't understand a slider UI, there are many who can.
Well this slider is visible in all Safari versions (I try 3, 4 and 5) but there is bigger problem and that is that search engine dont work in Safari 3 and 4. What it means, lets say 1-3% buyers cant find ANYTHING, and in this case purpose of something called "slider" is completely irrelevant. I do know if this one of indolence bugs is on iSmack s bug list but who cares. ---------------------------------------------------
As I see here and dont want to explore how this THING called SLIDER behaves in other browsers. I think there is infinite number of probabilities what you will get from they forced best match or whatever they want to sell. But I see that iSmacks dont do basic step in programming (compatibility with major browsers and they corrupted database)
What is my proof for this argument?
Well try it by yourself.

IS has been dropping, but there are still steady sales. You just have to allow 3 months for the video to get on line. Pitiful.
Mine are waiting since 10. and 11. april it is double PITA
you might want to post in the video forum about that. Even by IS standards that's too long. there have been issues with files being lost. There is a running thread you can read through and post to: http://www.istockphoto.com/forum_messages.php?threadid=335865
THNX But I really dont bother what this jerky smacks are doing anymore. It saves my eaten nails, puke, diarrhea and other problems connected with that wannabe site...
Wow somehow iSmacks finally deigned to approve my 2 videos from 10. and 11. April Bravo Sto-ka BRAVO WooYaay There are another 7 videos which latest date is 19. April C'mon Sto-ka you can do it. Dig out forks from you bloody eyes and just do it. ggg f. c. k. i. n, moron-s
