Crestock.com / Re: What is your acceptance rate at Crestock ?« on: May 01, 2008, 16:12 »
I am new to microstock. I upload equally to few sites and at this point I got large collection of photos to review, process and upload. I kinda like clearviewstock approach and I am getting closer to stop reacting to rejections. Let them take what they want as long upload process is relatively easy. In my case it's like 10% now at Crestock but there is not single download.

I know thtat many of you here are graphics designers and use tools from work to create isolations but I am just photographer, I use CaptureOne or Lighroom for most of my tasks. I would not justify paying couple hundred dollars for Photoshop CS when I am starting with microstock and my current payouts are around $50 a month.
Stand-alone software and plugins for isolating objects in your photos and combining multiple images into realistic composites.
How would you rank them and are they capable of making isolations acceptable in microstock world? 1608

So if description/keywords are wrong should not it be annotated and send back to describing queue for correction?

800 pictures in queue with 5 per day submission limit makes 6 months to clean up this backlog :-)

After 1 month of uploading I sell only on SS and other sites seems to be dead. I just wonder if I should focus more on them or drop all my stuff on SS only?

Dreamstime.com / Re: Is DT going down?« on: April 29, 2008, 13:22 »
I said it wrong I can only submit 5 a day and I managed to build up queue of 800 images there :-)

Where is this displayed? I got this message "Due to the massive uploads, you can only make 5 submissions per user daily. Please continue the upload process after 24 hours have passed since your first submission."

General Stock Discussion / My best and worst day« on: April 21, 2008, 22:32 »
It is almost month since I started (4 more days) and I hit two records: my highest number of downloads and highest number of rejections from one site :-) After one month I can say that there is only some action on SS. I guess I should probably stop uploading and work thru queues on other site.

Thank you guys. It seems like I need to carry portable reflector for photographing small object (it would probably scare off a squirrel :-) ) and for architecture shots avoid shooting when sun is high ;-)
