This is about every single commercial photo in the world. Apple successfully patents rectangle with rounded corners. I would never guess that it is possible. Is it time to produce triangle tablets? What's next? No more isolations because someone's going to register white background patent? Will all the models wear plain white t-shirts and lying on grass in the future? Well - maybe there will be special triple upside down reversed stitching on the shoulder visible patented by Stitchers Worldwide Inc. and particular color of lawn grass cultivar registered by United Grass Artists. I hope that this patent madness has some limits.

There are thousands and thousands of copies of sunglasses of this brand (that cannot be mentioned but it is obvious from Yuri's photos which manufacturer it is) produced daily. It is possible to buy very good copy of them at marketplace for 5 euro. Instead of lawsuit against these producers and sellers, manufacturer's concern is to battle against someone who spent money for their original product. World goes crazy. Time to start pornstock with naked models only.

Anyway I think that once you've created your template products, adding new ones is a pretty straight forward task...
Yes, it would be. But they add new products so often these days...

Zazzle works little bit like Fotolia for me. I still sell two years old designs over and over again but nothing that was created this year. I added one more shop but it didn't change anything.

3rd best month ever in total earnings
SS - BME (not that great as for number of downloads but above average number of ODs, ELs and Single DL) DT - very good (more than 100% up compared to September) FT - BME by a narrow margin (4th in a row) 123rf - worst month of the year CanStock - less than 50% of September's earnings BS - not as good as September but sales are slowly picking up these months
Average months on other sites (except BME on Crestock) iS - still too soon to judge with only few hundreds images online.

Since some time last Friday, they have been adding Partner Program sales from September - you'd see green bars on the September stats on your user_view page if that's where your money came from.
Hi,Where can i find the " September stats " as you said?
Go to http://www.istockphoto.com/user_view.phpClick on "Stats" tab and then on arrow under graph to change it to September

None of 300 - 400 of my images taken with this lens was rejected for "out of focus" or other technical reason. But I don't photograph landscapes.

I have no experience with D7000 but I have bought 18-55 VR DX year ago because I needed immediate replacement for another lens. I was absolutely amazed how sharp were images taking into account price - only 150 USD for this piece of plastic (definitely much sharper than more expensive 18-70mm 3.5-4.5). Not as sharp as 35/1,8 but great - even with 1/50 with VR on Nikon D90. I would say you must have faulty piece.

The sensitive use doesn't explain why I sold a picture of an office desk for $97.33
I sold dry river bed for 75 USD. I can live with that it even if use is extremely sensitive.

It's probably this licence: A license without a sensitive use option. For individual images downloaded under these licenses, the contributor will typically receive a royalty of $2 to $15 or more, based on the cost of the license and the contributors earnings tier (20 to 30%). http://www.shutterstock.com/buzz/individual-image-licenses-update

Both. Buying about 10 - 20 images a month (on 123rf because their credit packages suit my needs best) I buy them because I hate discussions with clients ("...it's great but could you reshoot it with this little useless thing moved two centimeters to the left?"). It's easier to show to client five photos and let them choose. Well - they usually don't want to spend money for shooting anyway.

http://www.dreamstime.com/thread_32755Contributors in thread say "Great News". I have to read it once again and carefully but I doubt I would call it great news.

They should change their QC policy and stop accepting every snapshot instead of bringing new search based on someone's personal taste.

Did you forget that there was Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament on Saturday? I didn't expect that PP sales could be updated this weekend.

I just noticed that they lowered payout to 30 euro. Now I'm very close to payout - only 30 euro remaining.

I just sold EL of image (vector) from my MS early days that I deleted from almost all sites because I thought it's too simple and unsalable.
I could never understand the logic of voluntarily deleting an accepted image from a site. There is no cost to keeping it online and always some chance it will sell. Some think unsaleable images may detract from their portfolio and somehow affect sales but I just don't see this as being much of a factor.
fred
Yes - they say that "downloads per image" is one of the factors that has influence on placement in search on some sites. I'm not sure if it's really true but my experience with some sites (FT, DT) is that if image is not downloaded in let's say first six months it will never be downloaded anyway, so there is no reason why to keep them online. Especially if I found them bad as well. And another reason is that some clients that I work for want to see my portfolio for unknown reasons and I don't want to show them garbage.

I noticed yesterday that referral link on my website linked to my SS portfolio doesn't work anymore. (Oops! The Shutterstock server encountered an error.)
