I hope someone will explain to you and to us what happened. If they think you did something wrong, they should inform you about that...

yes, of course. I am relatively new to stock. I am a contributor on SS from the end of march. I had one payment until now. Also, I am sure my images got much better than before. Again, my portfolio is small to take some statistics from it. And of course...the summer slowdown is here....

I have small portfolio of some 111 images, but I never, ever before had 0 dl's per day except few sundays. But now, I have three days in a row with 0 dl's and I uploaded my last batch one week ago. It's really strange for SS

My advice: Don't give up! You will get accepted for sure, and after it you will fall in love with SS. I got accepted third time, and I know few people who were accepted 7th time

I have rejections lately, but not that much to start complaining

I had problems with purple fringing, but then I noticed that when I use Photoshop to convert raw files I get purple fringing, and when I use Nikon NX Capture for conversion there is no purple fringing at all. I have Nikon camera, and probably their software knows how to correct it automatically... That helped in my case...

My acceptance rate on Fotolia has dropped also, drastically... I am sure my pics are better than before..it's obvious when you look at my portfolio. For example, more than half of images from my last batch were rejected on Fotolia, but on Istock, just one image were rejected. That's great success for me on IS because my acceptance rate there was lowest comparing to other agencies where I upload and I am happy because of it. My rejections on FT are almost always "quality of the photograph" and "type of the photograph"

Josh, I am uploading using ftp to 10 stock agencies, and everything except Crestock is working normally. I am sure I did everything right because it's really not some complicated process or maybe I am missing something in the process. This is my log file when I want to connect my Smart ftp to Crestock:

A sign of what rene? A sign that I should stop uploading there or a sign that Josh doesn't care for my problem? Basically, I had problems with rejections at CS in the beginning, but then everything started to run smoothly. I have only one image sold there, but I like the site... But now, when I can't use their ftp normally...

"Overfiltered" is also my most often rejection on IS. I am thinking about submitting less saturated, and non noise filtered images to IS, and more saturated and noise filtered images to other stock sites. It's pretty easy actually. I just have to "turn off' visibility of some layers in Photoshop, and save another version of image. What I don't like at IS is long reviewing time, and possibility to submit only 15 images in 7 days.

For me, IS keywording is really "pain in the ..." because I always do keywording for every image very carefully and for every image it takes at least 2 minutes to do only keywords in IS, plus categorization, plus model releases which I have to upload every time. So, IS upload system is something I don't like at all. Sometimes it looks to me like they don't want my image at all, and they are putting me on some test from the first moment of upload to see if I am really "tough player" . But sales are fine, and I have to stick to it. By the way, I always do keywords and categorization with effort, and almost always use maximum categories etc. So, I always do everything needed and check it after edit. I upload to mostphotos and it is one of the fastest stock sites if uploading and editing is in question, besides FP and 123RF

It also depends on few more things. For example, I uploaded some files on DT today, and for first image I needed some 45 sec. to: 1. write a note to reviewer 2. add categories 3. to click on "I agree..." 4. to click on "submit" 5. to check if I did all as I wanted it to be but for the next similar image I needed 15 sec. because I just clicked on button to add all info from previous image to new one, and I checked if everything is OK, and clicked submit button. So, it also depends on how many similar images one has. Also, if I have to upload model release I need much more time than to just choose some existing from my database.... So, it's not so easy to calculate some average time By the way...I really don't like choosing categories...
