Last SS -3,28% (down from 62,64% to 59,36%).

Yearly download per image rate:

2012: 3,26
2013: 3,11
2014: 2,69
2015: 2,06
2016: 1,50 (prediction after 6 months)

So, if you have 1000 items:

In 2012 you collect 3260 download/year (avg)
In 2016 you collect 1500 download/year (avg)

Actually, if it was my company, I wouldn't be that happy with only a 21% sales increase from a 61% asset increase over the period. Translate those figures to contributors, and it won't be long before many of them chose to bail out.

Yes ... and often new items are low low quality images and vectors ...

Mmm ... September is average for me, but 123 has the best performance in 2016 compared to 2015.

Earnings from 123 in 2016 are 6,39% of my total. In 2015 were 4,82%.

I also got those two emails. As I don't like clicking on links in emails (even if they do look legit) I sent a message to Bigstock support if this really came from them. No answer yet...
But, as others, I can't log in to my BS account any more with my old password...

Same here !

3rd April, i will close my account.

I hope that 3rd April will be the "Closing Account Day" on 500px.

Even if I had a very good start with SS this month, 500px is, surprisingly, my leading agency for February. At least for the time being. It only took 3 massive sales, to claim the first spot. 3 massive sales against ~400 micro-sales on SS.

Very good !

I have only 60 images and zero sales after 5 months.

How many followers have you ?

And how many point (pulse) reach your pictures (mine 85-98 ..., all my shots are popular ...) ?

Thanks, Bauman.

Software / Lost Adobe Bridge panel to copy and paste metadata
« on: December 02, 2015, 19:26 »
I've lost, after a "format and reinstall", a simple panel in Adobe Bridge.

This panel plug-in copy, paste and save from old to new photos, 3 most important metadata fields: keywords, title and description.

Do you have a link to this panel ?

Thank you in advance !

« on: July 22, 2015, 07:09 »
If i upload boring texture or studio still life, my approval rate is 100% ... But these images don't sell as my landscape ... But reviewers at SS don't know landscape photography natural light condition ... They love only artificial light.

Buyers want images that SS don't approve, and SS want images that buyers don't buy ...

Shutterstock.com / Re: Shutterstock Approval Frustrations
« on: July 22, 2015, 06:47 »
I have two Canon camera full frame: the new 5ds R and a 5d mk III

I shot landscape, architecture and travel photography only on tripod and 50/100 ISO.

I use only prime lens (24 tse II, 16-35 f/4, 24/70 f/2,8, 70-200 f/2,8 ...).

I shot f/5,6 - f/6,3 - f/7,1 to avoid diffraction ...

My monthhly RPI on SS is 0,90-1,00 $ (i have a small portfolio > 1000 images but great quality).

Last years my acceptance rate on SS was 93-96% ...

In 2015 is 60% and this July 20% ... and i'm sure that my 2015 images are better than previous year.

I search in SS new approved images and there is plenty of images much worse than mine ...

Very, very frustrating ...

Sorry for my english ...

246
This morning 100% rejections (4 photos) for Trademark on landscape photography ...

My SS approval rate in 2012-13-14 was 95-97% ... and in the last three months 40%.

MicrostockSubmitter / Re: Loading metadata, waiting time.
« on: December 04, 2013, 07:46 »
Hi Niakris,

i'm not a Software Architecture expert but i think that Bridge uses a Cache folder to store image preview thumbnails.

In Bridge "Preferences" there is an option "Keep 100% previews in cache" and a dedicated folder called "Cache" where are stored all the image thumbnails after the first opening.

I did a test. I open my 1000+ folder in Bridge in 16 seconds and the same folder in Stocksubmitter in 13 minutes.

I hope I was helpful

Thanks, Bauman

Thank you Niakris :)

I have an i7 3770 3,4 Ghz and 16 gb Ram ... but I have SSD hard drive only for applications, not for storage. My folder has 1000+ images ...

Is it possible a loading system similar to Adobe Bridge ?

Thanks again

Bauman
