Inspired even down the number of bags in everyone's hands.
Clothing same - even the sweater patterns. Only real difference is the turn of the heads.

Ok, back from vacation in Yellowstone. Beefing up my Symbiostock site - www.dogfordstudios.com with 500 plus images at this point. Blogging, linking, SEOing away. One new idea for marketing that I've put into place is offering a few free images. So far I just have one offered and its 72 dpi and limited to small size AND it has my URL on it. My thinking is that it would give an interested party a way to test out my site without spending any money. If anyone wants to test it out here is the link: http://www.dogfordstudios.com/image-type/free-stock-photos-images/Cheers!

Excellent! Being able to search for copy space and color is very useful!

My Canon 6d has it. Good for organizing in Lightroom via the Map. Does use the battery up faster as its checking position every certain amount of time.
DT has a map feature so if its useful there.

I sell t-shirts that a friend of mine designs (fishboy.com) with funny fishing designs. Visiting my parents in CT one night I nearly hit the floor when I saw them selling $5 t-shirts and hats with one of our designs on it.
We sent the owner a letter. They apologized and blamed it on their designer and we settled on $800.
But everytime I go to that restaurant they are selling shirts based on well known copyrighted designs. Obviously they didn't learn a lesson as they have sold rip offs of Peace Frogs and other popular t-shirts.

Different uses have different lead times - magazines, products, ads, blogs. You can't time it so just upload it. Besides different agencies take longer to index your images. On some sites you they don't seem to get seen for months, on others it could be immediate.

My site dogfordstudios.com seems to be stuck at 392 images on the symbiostock.info search engine.
Anyone have an idea why it would stop reading my new uploads into the search? thx

Things take time to get on Google, critical mass, SEO etc. I've been adding a lot of exclusives lately but I do seem to be having a connection between images on my SYS site and microstock sales. Maybe its just a coincidence or its because I'm uploading my best, but I do seem to have some sales lately on the microstocks that match images I've uploaded to www.dogfordstudios.com

Dogfordstudios.com - I don't see anything wrong with my site on my end. Still getting spam so it must be working for someone (spammers)
I've been away and haven't done anything except upload a few images. Haven't gone to 3.6 WP because I wanted to check here first for any problems.

http://cascoly.com/symbio/symbiostock-network.aspGave me the sandwich shot and a few other randoms from my portfolios based on "dogford studios" in my keywords. I didn't try symbiostock.info I wouldn't want to mess up the usefulness of search but I also recall one of the most annoying things I experienced on DT was this idiot who had nothing better to do then pull tickets on people for supposive keyword stuffing. I'd get these stupid tickets on legitimate keywords and then have to explain how they were relevant. The guy was either super OCD or was just trying to cause trouble.

I tried a search for "dog", one of my fav stock subjects, and I was surprised to see one of my "pulled pork sandwich" shots show up. I guess because I included my site name as a keyword "dogford studios".
I don't think that qualifies as keyword spam. There was also a picture of a bridge from somewhere over the dog river or something.
***** Now that I think about it some more. I probably wouldn't want muck up one of my fav search words. If the search engine is pulling "dog" out of "dogford".
Anyway I've been focusing on SEO. I don't know how many people are using the sys network search to find stuff. I think we need to concentrate on pulling people in to the network via SEO.

Ok I fixed it. The "toggling" worked. Didn't have a "2012" whatever that is but I had a Clean Theme and the Symbiostock 2.5.6
I activated the Symbiostock theme and then reactivated the Clean Theme and it cleaned everything up.
Everything appears to be working now. Even the ftp and the web upload with the larger upload size working. Yeah! Happy dance! Time for a beer.

OK that worked. I didn't have "2012' what ever that was.
I "toggled" between the Clean Theme and Symbiostock 2.5.6 and everything went back to normal. - Thanks, ed

2.5.6
Worked yesterday and this morning.
Now I get the "You browser doesn't have flash" message if I try to use the web upload.
On FTP - I created the missing directory.
FTPed the files.
They come in with title/keyword/description (over 10 mb too I might add which is new after fixing the php.ini file)
Then when I try to Process all I get is a "PROCESS IMAGES" and the rest of the page is blank.
Then in "All Images" I get the text but no images.

I'm on 2.5.6 - something changed today.
I did find something on my PHP.ini file that I hadn't changed after talking to BlueHost.
upload_max_filesize = 10M
to
upload_max_filesize = 25M
trying ftp again to see if it works now.

I'm having the same problem. (BlueHost, 2.5.5 worked fine. After upgrade web and ftp don't work anymore)
How exactly do I "toggle"back to 2.5.5? Confused....
Anyone have a link to the 2.5.5 download?

I upgraded today and when I went to process I got this message: "You browser doesn't have Flash, Silverlight, Gears, BrowserPlus or HTML5 support." Up till now I wasn't having any problems uploading images under 10 MB using Firefox or Explorer. Over 10 MB I still can't do even though I've gone through the changes. Also I upload basically one or two at a time. Bluehost. - Ed www.dogfordstudios.com

I can see the pitch from the ad agency to the client now:
"And this is going to be a really cost effect ad campaign. We would crowd source the photography to a bunch of high school kids with smartphones. It's only going to cost about $25 for the whole series. Of course we will be adding our 15% commission."
The top players don't pitch low ball. Maybe low end website designers creating a Blogger site for the local septic tank service company. And then after looking through 25,000 images of people's cats sent in with the wrong keyword, they'll have to go out and shot the photo themselves.
