Did you change the shutter speed manually? They don't like it as it might make the footage look a bit choppy or introduce flickering. With 30 fps, shooting shutter speed should be at (or a multiple of) 1/60. They can see that in the metadata, so it might be the rejection reason.

I get lots of these obscure sales for .01, .02, .03 cents. Wish I could ditch them, but sadly, IS is still my top 1 agency, performing much better than SS and AS, so at the end of the month, I'd rather have a good amount of sales, even if that means lots of 0.01 sales along the way.

Thanks for posting these. Small ports with great variety of subjects, styles and locations certainly has all the hallmarks of stolen work.
I didn't see anything of mine, but it'd be good if someone who is an owner can complain to SS so these scumbags can have their portfolios removed. I wish they'd let third party reports be considered (it'd be easy enough for them to check it out if they actually gave a toss...)
I think we can. If you go to your portfolio edit page on Alamy, there is a button 'share this portfolio' that will give you a link to share. You can also customise the url to make it more relevant. It's not an ideal portfolio page but it can work - still work in progress as it seems they keep adding new features.

Lowest...less than 0.000...cent via istock/getty.
Highest RF image around 300 also Gettyimages.
Impressed to read that people are ready to donate on pixabay.
I got a little frustrated with the number of photos that are just laying on my hard-drive, not good enough to my stock portfolio, so I decided to share them online. Now they are making me more money than my 4000+ portfolio on middle & low tier stock sites out there.
How do you even make money from Pixabay? Everything is free under CC0 there. These types of websites are one of the reason the business is going down.
From their FAQ:
What is Pixabay? Pixabay is a vibrant community of creatives, sharing copyright free images and videos. All contents are released under Creative Commons CC0, which makes them safe to use without asking for permission or giving credit to the artist - even for commercial purposes.
Allegedly by donations...
Wow so that's basically working as a waiter for free, and hoping the tips come in. That sounds horrible. Also found this on their forum, first guy had about 1000 downloads and no 'coffee' donation... yet. https://pixabay.com/en/forum/questions-about-pixabay-11/coffee-payments-3240/Sad.

He is either an idiot for not reading/understanding the t&s, or a smart business man who just gained free publicity using a fishy story.
I'd say a business ploy, check this out, that's him right? https://www.gofundme.com/wza5us5p-recovering-stolen-camera-gearIf he got something out of this in the past, he will probably get something again out of this news story, either from SS or Walmart.

What's the best standard model release to use in order to be accepted by all the agencies? Is there an app version also?

I'd like to advertise my portfolio on platforms like Twitter and Insta but not really sure where to start. For those who are doing it already, or have done it in the past: - Have you noticed any benefit to it? - Which platform did you use? - If you have the same file on many agencies, how do you pick which agency you advertise? - How often do you post every day? Any advice would be awesome!

So, anyone has sold a video in iStock for more than 0.63 usd? Non-exclusive. Thanks.
If that's the best price you got, why on earth do you sell video there?
That's my question! Is that the best? Why tf is so low?

No you can also get 9$ sales for video as non exclusive.
Is that often?

Yeah they're quite regular but I guess it depends of the subject matter of your portfolio. If you start getting low sales for video thou through their partners or low res, 'higher' sales should technically follow, give them a few more months.

Sounds interesting. Is this limited to photos only or will it support videos, vectors, audio etc?

They are not contributor friendly. Not a good agency to deal with
Agreed.

Hey Mat,
I've got a question regarding the title of the file. On most other sites, we are required to enter both a title and a description, but on AS only a title is needed.
Is it better to keep it short as a title or to create more of a description including for instance the type of shot, concept, backstory etc.?
Thanks for your help!
Found the answer for those who want more info on the subject: https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/titles-and-keyword.html
Thanks for the advise link, answers a question I had and never followed up: Titles are not searchable at Adobe Stock. Instead, content is found through keywords, so be sure to include all important words from the title as keywords.
Looks like I need to do some reading and adjusting.
I have a relatively new piece of information about this to share with you. While the title itself is not searchable, if you add a keyword that is also listed in the title, that word is given extra weight in the search results.
-Mat
Oh nice, thanks Mat. And what about the position of the words in the title - for instance 'Blue Hat Girl' vs 'Girl With Blue Hat' - would the first word hold more weight than the last given these words are also in the keywords? hehe

in recent weeks. If I delete all my files, I'll have a piece of mind that there's no foul play like some agencies in the past kept our earnings and disappeared. I'll probably give another month or two before making the final decision to delete my files. We had a good few years with VideoBlocks at least.
Yeah I'm probably going to do the same by end of January.

You can also use Adobe Audition if you've got creative cloud.
