Shutterstock.com / Re: video upload error
« on: January 06, 2024, 10:24 »Hi,1. Are you shooting with the DJI Mimo app?
Shutterstock accepts videos I shoot and upload with my iPhone 11. But when I connect my iPhone 11 to the Osmo mobile 3 gimbal and upload the videos I shot, it gives a codeck error and does not accept it. Where might the problem be?
2. View the characteristics of your video in MediaInfo.
3. On iPhone 11, you shoot with the original iPhone app.
4. I can only assume that all these applications shoot with variable FPS. You need to change your video to a constant fps, such as 29.97 or 25.
In any case, I recommend that you do not upload the original video to Shutterstock from your iPhone. Transcode your video in Adobe programs. For example in Media Encoder.
You can change FPS in Premiere.
5. You may be shooting in the H.265 codec in the DJI Mimo app. Shutterstock does not accept this codec.
In any case, do not upload videos with variable FPS. Convert videos to constant FPS.
I think I found the source of the problem. When I shoot with DJI Mimo, there is no problem since Full HD images are recorded as H.264, but when I shoot in 4K, it is recorded as HEVC and Shutterstock does not accept it. Now the question is? How can we record in 4K quality and H.264 codec with DJI Mimo?
