Anyone else get an email from Pond5 saying "You have earnings from the Global Partner Program, go check them out" but there is nothing showing in dashboard?

I think if you just combine the right buzzwords - community, internet,disruption,vertical market,crowd sourced...mix it all up somehow, maybe add bitcoin and crypto... have a website with an earcatching name and sleek design...and....an app! with a bit of a game built in, likes and hearts and comments...I think you can attract a crazy amount of money.
In a zero interest world investors are desperate, so they throw a lot of money at all these start ups that dont understand or use the tech.
And every time there is one that makes it, 5000 new platforms are showered with money.
I like it. How about: www.InstaDisruptCrytpoStockChainCommunityTube.comConcept: Everyone gives the site free everything. Every 'like' you get, you pay the site $1. Buy you get....exposure! Investors welcome.  Sadly I think you're right Cobalt, so many startups that never amount to anything except some disappointed people.

Correct, buyers cannot download these images, they can only use them within canva. They need a different license I believe to actually download them.
Is that a technical limitation or are we all counting on the fact that all buyers are honest?
Technical limitation. There is no "download" option, only "remove watermark" within the app.

It will be interesting to see if/when they actually double our earnings, or how they weasel out of it.
Another question, does anyone know how to tell how many images you have for sale there now? I used to be able to see this by clicking on an image and then my contributor name, but that doesn't seem to work anymore.
I hate how they removed the portfolio numbers, I was looking for that too. I also can't update my profile info (location, website) etc even though the fields are there, the save button never enables. Seems like they are just tinkering with the contributor end but never finishing things off.

Hey! I am a wedding photographer who has 1 wife, 1 child and expecting another. Saying this, because I would like to earn side money. Don't know shet* about stock photography. Can you recommend any course on uploading, metadata, places to upload, tools...stuff like this ?

Email also says they will continue to sell our photos after bankruptcy. Just they will not owe us anything. Amazing. It looks like fraud.
It actually says they will pay for any sales after bankruptcy via Design Pics Inc.
Of course there's no chance of anyone making payout before they disappear because all the money accrued prior to bankruptcy will be wiped from accounts.
And just to add something which is normal for bankruptcy, after they pay the obligations and other debts, that must be paid in full. Taxes for example. The rest of the claimants might get a percentage of what's owed based on how much they have divided into how much they owe. That number isn't going to be 100% in most situations.
WOW - the Design Pics family of agencies includes: Design Pics, Printscapes, The Irish Image Collection, First Light, Axiom Photographic, Pacific Stock, Alaska Stock, AgStock Images and most recently, Disability Images.
But only CreStock out of these is filing for bankruptcy, right? Or all?

Hard to feel sympathy for them when their rejection messages were downright insulting and arrogant which I took as an indication of the esteem they held their contributors in.
I think this was one of the first agencies I ever left, and never looked back. Your summary of them is spot on in my opinion, but I hope those who still had earnings get their payments. Hate to see it going to a collection agency or similar.

Hey there - has been confirmed with 7.3, not 7.4. 7.4 has only been out a few months and we try to stick with robust testing with versions that have been out at least a year. Thanks!
Ok thanks for the update. Since PHP updates are released yearly, and you want to wait a year at least, looks like we will always be a year or more behind on the latest PHP version. But thanks for letting us know at least so we can plan accordingly. Is there a changelog for the new updates?

Agreed, terribly worded email. Yes, 123RF is part of the Inmagine Group.
My take on this is: the costs associated with reviewing, hosting and serving video footage is probably not being covered by their footage sales. Sales have declined at 123RF hugely for me and I recall many others reporting the same.
I'm guessing this is a cost cutting measure, which doesn't bode well for them long term. But with their terrible royalty system I wouldn't be sad to not see them around in the future.

Was just sharing some of my images from my PicFair portfolio to Twitter ( @thpstockphotos if you're interested ) , and it was a breeze.
Figured I'd go do the same from my Adobe Stock portfolio - except there is no sharing option on the image detail pages, unless I'm missing something?
I thought I'd take a look at Shutterstock, and sure enough they have the option to share from the image detail page. However, it's really lacking - it only adds the URL in by default. No description, no hashtags, not even a proper Twitter card to display a nice, full size image.
Just got me wondering why Adobe Stock doesn't have this kind of feature? Surely it'd be a pretty easy win? If it's built out properly (like the PicFair one, although even that could be improved a little) I'm sure contributors would be sharing their images a lot more (at least, I know I would).
It's a good suggestion and would be a nice feature. The development team is working on a lot with the portal to make it a better experience. I'll make sure to share this feedback with the team.

I've used Wordpress themes for years, including Avada. From what I've seen, the ship has sailed on that front. Go back maybe to 2010-12 or so, and sure, there was incredible opportunity. And some capitalised on it, like many microstock contributors did with iStock in the early days. But now there are a flood of themes and new ones come and go all the time. Most stop being updated/supported after a couple of years, leaving the buyer in a poor position. That's partly why popular themes like Avada, Enfold (my personal fav: https://1.envato.market/c/361556/275988/4415?u=https%3A%2F%2Fthemeforest.net%2Fitem%2Fenfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme%2F4519990 and other's are successful now - people can rely on them being maintained. So it's WAY harder to break into this market now than before. Plus, providing support for these themes requires a team of people, which I think many guys starting out seem to forget, and very quickly get overwhelmed with support requests. But like you say, if you could go back in time....I would have started microstock in 2000 and then switched to Wordpress themes in 2010

No, I'm not selling my 4k clips cheaper at anywhere else. I set my 4k price lower than $179 at Pond5, but they changed the price more than 20% lower without my knowledge.
Hmm, well I'm out of ideas then. Contact them and see what they say. But that is worrying.

Quite likely on an artist-direct site. https://www.microstockman.com/thpstock-direct/These are made for single use purchases, rather than subscriptions, which is what the agencies thrive on.
