Does anyone know what happens with the money we have earned on Snapixel? I was close to a payout, but not quite there I wrote them a little over a week ago, but no reply.

There seems to be a problem with Fotolia and Istock. Fotolia keeps submitting even though I don't upload pictures. I filled up my account yesterday - and today I got a message that I had used all my credits...all 377 :O (I checked Fotolia, and luckily there wasn't 377 pictures in line for approval - only the ones I had actually uploaded ) With Istock I keep getting "Unknown error". Sometimes the uploaded picture is submitted, but mostly I get an error. Saying 'the site has probably changed formats. Please update to a newer version'. But there is no updates Otherwise I love your software! You have done an amazing job!

Same thing just happened to me... I had 1 sale the 7th, also showing the picture sold (Api sale). Last week the picture didn't show anymore, but the sale was still there. Now the sale is gone as well. Strange! (I never saw any amount stated) I was wondering if it had anything to do with the third party sales coming in that week, but couldn't see why it would show a specific picture and say Api-sale...

StockSubmitter showed a 99,23$ sale from 123rf for me yesterday. But when I tried to check what picture I had sold, I couldn't get into my earnings page. And when I got in a little later, no sale showed. Credit card fraud going on or something? I was so happy about that sale....

Any news on the image transfering to Alamy? I've had pictures waiting since may 2010......

Isignstock has actually beaten istock, dreamstime and fotolia two months in a row, now! Still very far behind shutterstock, but this looks good Nice to see another company with good sales!! I'm just wondering what I'm selling

I love the fact that people actually want to buy my pictures I also love that I don't have to work full time - because I'm making money on my hobby as well

Thanks for answering I tried Canon g12 since it has raw, but I didn't think the pictures got quite as sharp as I wanted them to So I started looking into four thirds cameras. But I realized it would get more expensive to by the camera, housing and strobes, than it would be to buy a housing for my 5d

I'm thinking of buying a compact camera for underwater photography, instead of buying a housing for my 5d mark II. I used to shoot with Canon 500d + fantasea housing, but it started leaking - and I flooded my camera So, I need a new one.... But do I want to invest sooo much money on a housing for my mark II ? And do I want to carry around all that heavy equipment?? Can I just buy a compact camera set instead? Is any of the compact cameras good enough for stock?

Same here. I uploaded with Stocksubmitter, so I thought that was the reason. But obviously the bug is at Cutcaster then

Royalties, bonus payments and image views are now all live and accurate in the contributor area.
I can't see the bonus payment? At least the amount under royalties doesn't add up to be both picture sales and bonus.. especially considering I for a very short moment saw the number of pictures that were downloaded in November. Or is the bonus spread out on November, December and January?

Finally some earnings reported from November and December - and it actually looks good They beat the middle tier sites for me (excluding the upload bonus)

I'm also having problems with the metadata at Veer. Sometimes it's ok, but most of the time all of the pictures I submit gets the same info. This also happens if I submit one and one picture. The funny thing is that Veer have accepted the pictures even though the metadata is way off.... e.g. now I have a picture of a lighthouse called "Iguana on the beach"

I agree they have to do something. But I think instead of just increasing the standards way too much now, they should start in the other end - remove the old stuff that is not selling! If they let the old pictures with lower quality stay on their site, and not take in some of the new pictures with much higher standards -the all around quality on Shutter is not going to increase.

I got a mail 13.Dec saying the latest royalties and the bonus payments were being calculated, and would be entered into the royalties sections before Christmas, but nothing yet. Guess it's just around the corner

I checked my royalties report at Isignstock a couple of hours ago, and it showed 22downloads and 0 in November. I checked again now, and the column with #downloads were gone Anyone else experienced that?

Can I wish for more sites? Cutcaster Isignstock Pixmac Catooh Graphic Leftovers and scanstock are still not working for me. And Canstock only upload one of the pictures. But featurepics works perfect now By the way, you made uploading to Istock so much easier!! Thank you And sorry for bothering you with yet another problem....

November was a really good month for me. BME with 23%....I wish every month would have an increase like that 123rf and canstock were the only ones down! But, here comes December.....that will probably bring me right back down to earth

This is sooooo frustrating! SS rejects nature pics that even Fotolia accepts now That says a lot...

I'm having a terrible week. Nothing makes sense. No sales and I was expecting a bunch. Last Tuesday I had 15 sales on Shutterstock. Today -- ONE!
Same here...and here I was, thinking it was because I had a raise! Everything just dropped right around that! So at least it's good to hear there isn't a conspiracy

Sounds odd. Are you sure that you used the Object name IPTC tag as title and not the Headline? Some sites take both. Object name is always safe. As to keywords, much depends on the delimiters. Commas, spaces and semicolons used to be accepted on some sites, but the safest are <newline> delimited keywords. FD-tagger uses <newline> by default, but you can still change this in the settings. If you use <newline>, the keywords should show as a single column in Irfanview.
Ahaa...I have been using Headline! I thought it must be me who was doing something wrong Thank you very much! This should make things easier

I just use bridge to enter the information. It doesn't have any spell checking or word counting features but it works.
I'll give it a try Thanx

All agencies read the base IPTC scheme as Irfanview supports, except... Veer. I had to help the LO programmer out long ago on this. For tagging, I still use my own script FD-tagger, copypasting to Irfanview. I hope Veer will follow the industry standard one time soon. The industry standard is not the private XMP scheme that Adobe wants to push down our throats.
Hmm...wonder why I have problems then GL don't take keywords + title, Dreamstime/bigstock/Zoonar/FeaturePics/ScandinavianStockPhoto don't take the title. The other agencies take everything..including Veer
