You are right, I should smile. I'm sad because my last images don't sell well or don't sell at all. Even though I uploaded more in the last months, and my acceptance rate is about 90% now, they seem to be non commercial. At the beginning it was under 50, and the new files sold better. And is not so long ago.

   Thank you ShadySue.

So, I sold the coots, but a different image with the same birds. Only 0.33:-(

29
After almost 24 hours, no sales on those shots:-(
And if they miss the start at SS, they are dead. Anyway, my new images don't sell well at all. My good sellers are by the time I had less than 500 images. Now with 1500+, no new big sellers...

My images were accepted on SS last night, so I'll let you know if they will bring some sales. Thank you all for the replies, especially ShadySue and Mantis, who were really trying to help. Tavi

Looks like they disabled the uploads. I get the same message.
I'm there for about a year and have 120 images. Zero sales...

Hi, I made some images of wild birds on ice today, and I wonder if it's worth selling them to micros. The other wildlife pics I have are not selling very good, so I wonder where can I sell these kind for a better revenue. Thanks.

I had a file rejected with "this file was previously rejected. Do not resubmit". It was the first submission. I didn't resubmit this particular file, but sent an email to them, because I read this rejections could turn in warnings. One week and no answer...

No, I can't see it here, so I don't know what to search in the program.
I also discovered that istock is not recognizing title and caption. >:(

Luiss, I cannot see the photo you added, also cannot find the  IMPORT / SAVE template. The only way I found is to add keywords one by one. It takes forever...

I cannot find a way to add all keywords, only inserting one by one. Please help. This is a pain after working with PSM.

Poncke, you're lucky with this numbers. Mine are far smaller. But this is not the problem, the problem is the lack of growth. As I stated before, '5x crap' should sell 5 times better than 'crap'. The lack of growth smells fishy, and I see I'm not the only one seeing this "trend". Sad thing, I can see it at DT, where my sales are like when I had 250-300 pics. Now close to 800. Actually, for me only SS is showing growth as I submit more, maybe I should list here FT as well, but the others are not picking up, despite I uploaded more "crap" to them. They are selling "almost nothing" in a steay way. But not nothing. This bothers me.
Newbie here, only a year in this so hope I'm wrong.

Seems like eater we has ended at SS. I had some very bad days, with sunday selling absolutely zero. Only one year in this, but Christmas was far better...hope now the sales will continue.

And this happens because they are too cheap.

I had a very (very) bad friday and then an above average sunday.
   Today nothing yet...

Hello. I passed the 99 credits so now i can raise the price for EL from 20 to 50. Is there a way to make this in bulk or i must do it for each file? Thanks

I have 3 sales for the first day of febr. They came in different days, so I think they will start adding this we.

43
Until now my sales are 73% on SS this month. And not because SS is selling like crazy for me, but because the others are selling almost nothing. One year in MS and really tired to see how the sales are not improving even if I upload files. Seems that only SS does a good job for me and has picked a growing trend.

44
I'm nowhere near the pool, too. Only IS seems to make the average  amount that matches the pool results. And this is due to PP as dlds on IS are down... newbie here 1 year on MS. I would be very happy if the others sites would sell what the pool says, but I'm making half the money on SS and I upload to many of the others.
DT is making less than 5% from what SS makes for me...and have  slightly bigger port on DT. So you are not alone.

« on: March 18, 2013, 01:15 »
@ morning.light: No, I am now at this number :( but I discussed about the numbers in another topic. I had some months with 30 dsdl, then a jump at 60, and then a big jump to 170. Now I'm stucked here. For eg, dec 171dlds, ian 171dlds. Weird, no?
Febr has grown a little with 179 in 28 days, and this month I'm at that average.
But the money gone up due to ODs. Now I hope seeing in increase of at least 32% in terms of $, and hope next jump in terms of dlds is not far, as my port increased in this period.

« on: March 17, 2013, 14:07 »
Hello. I want to thank you all for your feedback and for answering my questions (and I had some) during this past year.
Today I reached the first 500$ at SS. It took me one year and 3 days, and 998 dlds, and a port of 643 images today. It was a slow journey for me it seems, but I learned many things about photography and it was an interesting journey. Hope I'll hit some great salers and shorten the way to the next milestone of 3000.

PS: As this was discussed in others topics, I want to share the percentage of sales, as this was a question for me at the beginning, and maybe it'll help some newbies (I am also new to MS).
   25-a-day   45.70%
   OD           23.48%
   SOD           2.60%
   EL            27.93%
ref             0.29% (this is not relevant as it may vary alot)
I also noticed that I have one EL/200dlds, steady in the past 3 months with one a month. Also, more than half of the money were made in the last 3 months, so it started very slow but going pretty steady from a point.

PS2: I have something like 15 editorial images, bad sellers, but it was an editorial that hit the milestone, the second sale in 7 months for the file, for 1.88  :)

Vannphoto, I said that my sales are now the same as when I had 300 files at DT. So with 700 files I sell the same (almost nothing) as when I had 300, some months ago. And that's weird. I didn't compare my port with others.

Vannphoto, I was reffering to my own files. I sell now the same as when I had 300 files. I was not reffering to another port of 300.

No matter how non-cmmercial are my files, a 700 port must sell better than a 300 port. And they are selling on SS and FT. So must be something with DT.
