Oops! Too soon! 500px is not giving up! Another massive $175 sale. 4th sale for this month. It only has 74 pulse, so not a "popular" photo
Congratulations for the sale! Was it an exclusive 500px photo? I'm wondering if I create an exclusive portfolio or if I mix with some microstock stuff I have.
Cheers!
Thanks and no: I don't have exclusive photos there. And btw, SS is back on top again

I'm starting a portifolio there. Thanks for sharing your experience!

At the moment i have 1500+ images on IS, 200+ images on DT,FT and 500+ images on 123RF. I also started two weeks ago on Alamy with 150 imgs. How many photos do you have in SS? The same as in FT and DT? ...videos only to SS/FT (with some videos exclusive on FT). Do you have any particular reason to put some videos exclusive on FT? From my experience, sales there are worse and comission lower than SS and P5.

I still have the classic view here in France. Hopefully they will keep it because I share the same opinion with you.

I hope I can see this Fotolia boost on my sales too. Nothing changed for the moment on my stats I still have only less than 10% of SS in FT (in FT I have 50% less files than in SS)

one thing i can tell you about ss... if they reject it... it won't sell.
I have some images that I have re-uploaded and they sell very well. It really depends on the rejection reason. But it's hard to understand SS rejections. That said, maybe your strategy of discard the file and move on could be the most efficient in terms of productivity.

Portfolio +7% Earnings -7%
This earning decrease was kinda expected with such a low upload rate (less than 200 photos + videos)

You can't draw what is drawn in that article.. if the article is about drawing a dog.. you can't draw that dog.. that is copying.. you can draw a "unique" mouse (out of your own imagination, if it exists) using that technique, but not the dog.. I mean it's up to you, If you can't resist, do it, but once spotted, you will feel the heat..
That's exactly how I think. Thak you all for the answers!

Hi ShadySue and cclapper,
I think exactly like you. But of course now I'm a little worried with so many terminated accounts cases.
I know that, if you don't copy someone's else work there should be nothing to worry about. But I'm wodering if it's possible that a magazie or blog complain to a micrsostock and cause an unfair account suspension/termination.
I hope that this risk is low for those who create their own work.
Thanks

Hello all,
What about a magazine tutorial or free "step by steps" on the internet? If you use the techniques described on these articles, could it cause you any problem or have the account terminated?
I guess a lot of people learn from these sources. But of course the techniques are created by someone. Although the articles are written to spread the knowledge, would people be allowed to used the same styles and sell the images?
