How is your revenue compared to other video stock sites at Envato market? Is it worth uploading?
The one which is not a subscription model.

How is your Adobe position number going on in the last two months?
My sales have dropped 50%, but weekly position still stays quite the same.

If you would say $6000, then it wouldn't be so bad... but giving away all your hard worked images for $600? You really don't yet respect your work, do you?
Even with that amount of monthly income everyone should leave iStock... My video downloads are averaging little bellow 5$ at iStock. That is at least 1/5 of average HD sale elsewhere... They are stealling right in our face. But in the eyes of a lot contributors, 6 grand is 6 grand. It is still hard to cut 72k per year from your sallary. Everyone should says fuck it and pull the plug. And maybe in the future things would get better.

Yep, Storyblocks sits at 5th place from 6 agencies where we contribute.

More relevant number would be downloads per month / $ . For example, iStock went bellow $5/clip and I stopped uploading...
In Membership now: $0,11 was $0,18.

You can't see number of DLs in Member library to calculate your earning for $/clip
With the new Dashboard revenue pool is not visible.

Open_, you are right with.
It is about 60% of the first two months and going down fast. In 2-3 months $ return from Memeber library will be about the same as in Marketplace before.
Not worth offering unlimited downloads for that price:

23rd of February:
Update about the pricing plan weve set a date for receiving the lists of subscription clips to March 31. Please provide it by that date. Well be moving collections that have content in subscription plans to our $29 HD / $179 4K tier on April 1st. For the subscription buyer, on a per clip basis, unlimited downloads is nearly free versus a-la-carte pricing and is too wide a disparity.
Clips that are not in Member library were not affected.

Lucky you that you weren't discovered!
Dissolve is searching Storyblocks for the same clips offered in their database.

And for those who also contribute to Dissolve, it is a chain reaction.
Your clips are now offered for 29$ at Dissolve.

All the sales are gone to Member library, where clients can have unlimited downloads for 16.6$ per month...
Why pay 79$ for HD, where you can have unlimited 4K for 16$.

Those who contribute to Member library, are you aware that you offer unlimited downloads to clients for 16.6$ per month?
They are advertising doubled income to contributors, but reality is a lot different. You may earn more short term, but you offer your clips for cents.

VB is weird last few months. No sales at marketplace and no reports on sales in the library.

iStock deleted all of my videos which had point of view of driving, showing the steering wheel of the car. Without any notice or message.

I am contributing photos to SS, Adobe and iStock. I have constant sales in that order and thinking to extend to other agencies.
Which one is worth trying?

Eighth Wonder has 12.5 million clips on Shutterstock?
This is a glitch in the search engine. Click on the videos and you see that there are different contributors.

Does iStock accept editorial videos?
If I am correct, they accept photos?

I have more and more 1.50$ sales. I can't say that number of sales is growing, there are just more 1.5$ ones.

How is your August looking? Mine looks like it will be 50% down from a steady pace in 2018.

Is it possible to somehow see number of video and photo downloads and income before the 20th of the month for the previous month?

Is here anyone that has the same portfolio on Shutterstock and Deposit photos?
How do you compare sales? And how much do you get per sale at Deposit?
I upload to Shutterstock and I am thinking to start uploading to Depositphotos.
Thanks!

Has anything changed here in the last year?
Any new agencies worth trying, beside the Top Tier - Big 4 regarding the poll?
Which ones are the steady ones in low earners?
