General Stock Discussion / Re: What if other agencies charge you a fee if you stop feeding them?« on: March 12, 2020, 10:29 »
I would rather see a high fee to let you upload. In this case there wouldn't be so many files online and your content could sell better.

Adobe Stock / Re: What is your position?« on: August 14, 2019, 11:57 »

iStockPhoto.com / Re: $ 0.00077 Lowest Earning on Istock (new record $ 0.00001)« on: May 20, 2019, 14:12 »
Even with that amount of monthly income everyone should leave iStock... My video downloads are averaging little bellow 5$ at iStock. That is at least 1/5 of average HD sale elsewhere... They are stealling right in our face. But in the eyes of a lot contributors, 6 grand is 6 grand. It is still hard to cut 72k per year from your sallary. Everyone should says fuck it and pull the plug. And maybe in the future things would get better. 21
VideoBlocks / Re: Storyblocks - any signs of life?« on: May 18, 2019, 06:35 »

VideoBlocks / Re: Storyblocks - any signs of life?« on: May 18, 2019, 06:11 »
More relevant number would be downloads per month / $ .
For example, iStock went bellow $5/clip and I stopped uploading... In Membership now: $0,11 was $0,18. 23
VideoBlocks / Re: Storyblocks - any signs of life?« on: May 18, 2019, 05:45 »
You can't see number of DLs in Member library to calculate your earning for $/clip
With the new Dashboard revenue pool is not visible. 24
VideoBlocks / Re: Storyblocks - any signs of life?« on: May 18, 2019, 04:57 »
Open_, you are right with.
It is about 60% of the first two months and going down fast. In 2-3 months $ return from Memeber library will be about the same as in Marketplace before. Not worth offering unlimited downloads for that price: 25
General - Stock Video / Re: Storyblocks - Member library« on: May 17, 2019, 17:32 »
23rd of February:
Update about the pricing plan weve set a date for receiving the lists of subscription clips to March 31. Please provide it by that date. Well be moving collections that have content in subscription plans to our $29 HD / $179 4K tier on April 1st. For the subscription buyer, on a per clip basis, unlimited downloads is nearly free versus a-la-carte pricing and is too wide a disparity. Clips that are not in Member library were not affected. |
