I do not know if there is a lot of people here in Twenty 20, but I have just received an email from them:
"Today, we're shifting away from a fixed $2 per photo sold to Subscriber Share: a way of calculating contributor revenue share based on the core idea that a buyers money should go to the contributors they actually use and value...." https://help.twenty20.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011570913-What-is-Subscriber-Share- They do some quick numbers and conclude by saying that you will win the same, but really they are going to pay 20% of the subscriptions and the subscriptions cost $29/month and are unlimited, meaning that customers can download thousands of photos per month without limits, so they will end up paying us a few cents/download I will wait until the end of November and depending on the income per photo, I will close the account. Creative Market released a similar system with CreativeMarket Pro, was a ruin for contributors and now they are closing it. 28

The update.
Shutterstock says that the customer never purchased that photo in Shutterstock web. Searching in other agencies Ive found that the only place I sold this photo was in Bigstock, three times in a day in June, so as Shutterstock and Bigstock are the same agency, I suppose that there is a mistake in the caption of the newspaper and where it says "from Shuttestock" it should have said "from Bigstock" Thanks everyone for your comments. 29

Hi, I just saw a photo of mine published in an important digital newspaper that in the credits indicates Shutterstock, however, I have never sold that photo in Shutterstock. Who should I contact, Shutterstock, the newspaper... or with none of them just for a few cents?

Doesnt specify the type of license, dont know if any subscription or so, but I just know that some months ago I sold photos on 500px for $14, after for $1,5 and now $0,65. I have noticed that Getty is cutting royalties, same thing is happening to me in Eyeem via Getty, the price per photo is falling down 35

If I go to Manage Photos, under licensing I see some in prime collection, others in core collection and others declined, but I cant find any link to my images on Getty Thanks! 39

In order to be selected for Getty, is it worthy to upgrade to awesome/pro?

Shutterstock.com / Re: Understanding Editorial /commercial« on: July 09, 2018, 01:54 »Did you make sure there are no bank names, Coke signs or anything like that on the buildings? I had some rejected once for the same thing and when I looked carefully found I had missed an NBC logo on one of the buildings in the background - they went through once that was removed. Either that or they have some new inspectors as others suggested. I have just done a test, Ive uploaded again one of the photos that Shutterstock rejected me, changing slightly the tone (split tone), nothing more, and they have accepted it. Frankly I do not understand this lack of criteria in the acceptance. 41
Shutterstock.com / Understanding Editorial /commercial« on: July 05, 2018, 02:10 »
Hi, I can not understand the criteria for rejecting photos because they contain property rights.
Yesterday I uploaded pictures of cityscapes of New York containing American flags on foreground with skyscrapers and other office buildings on background (no Empire State, Chrysler, Rockefeller, One World Trade,...), as well as photos with planes flying over skyscrapers, none of them contained logos or anything similar, and they were all rejected for commercial use. If I go to Shutterstock, I find thousands of similar photos that have been accepted as commercial. As a matter of fact, somedays ago they accepted me similar photos. Can someone explain the criteria or does it depend on the inspector? Thank you 42

General Stock Discussion / Re: Creativemarket... your experience?« on: December 27, 2016, 04:51 »
I started there around 2 years ago. The photo sales has dropped a lot since then. With about 300 photos I was getting $100-120/month. This month with 1000 photos I have won $7
