Was trying very hard to get a bit of momentum behind my drive to get them to give us better protection, but I think the 3 lone voices in the dark will still not move them to spend any time, money or effort in doing anything about it.
Quite a shame considering their recent success and high standing as stock seller, but in my opinion branded as one of the worst protectors of our (their?) interest / property.....

I just wonder how do they do to catch images that were previously rejected months ago, it's some kind of software??

Whether or not to participate in DP is a decision everyone has to make on their own. There's a clear connection between DepositPhotos and DepositFiles, namely Dmitry Sergeev. No doubt the companies are connected in other ways as well. Nowadays I'm sure that Dimitry and company are trying to keep DP on the up-and-up, maintaining a legitimate business and all. And I'm sure that for everyone involved, it's a legit deal and no reason to suspect otherwise. Aside from hearing about DP stiffing a contracted graphic designer for some completed work, I haven't heard of DP screwing over artists in any way.
For me it's a moral objection. I've had to send DMCA takedown requests to DF in the past to have my stock images removed from their site, and I'm not about to jump in bed with those same folks, even if their new business is 100% clean and legal. And trust me, my moral compass doesn't always point due north (I'm still with istock and vectorstock). But everyone has to draw their own line in the sand somewhere, and DP is where mine is.
I'm not about to help the same folks who profited from enabling the piracy of my work, regardless of the fact that maybe DP itself is a morally upstanding company.

I hadn't realised you could put any of the standard license prices up, just the EL prices, any links to where this is explained on FL?

Isn't it time leaf? they bloody deserve it.
Regular sales, easy upload, management that actually works (favorites) and most importantly, they take the time to support us in this forum!

I should have done it a long time ago, but i just borrowed an X-rite Eye One colorimeter to calibrate my screen. (before it was set to imac's sRGB IEC61966 color profile).... i was prepared for 'some' difference, but holy shitters! Seriously...
Everything looks AWFULLY dirty yellow-greenish now, it lost it's pop and is now dull, dark and dirty yellow(ish).
I read on the internet that this tool is very reliable, but i somehow can't believe this is right...
So i was wondering, anyone else been using Eye One...? And is it really so reliable? Were you also shocked at the result?
(i'm ashamed to admit i know very little about color management... what would be the best way to check if this is what its supposed to be?)
Merci

What's the point of proving one's identity, I could put my real name but that isn't what my portfolio is under and it's the same for the vast majority of contributors.
We've seen instances where an agency has taken direct action over what's been said here, again a good reason for anonymity.
The biggest problem you have here is your own censorship, you allow people to make statements on MSG and then when they're challenged or asked to provide some form of evidence you delete the posts and lock the thread, I appreciate this is a good revenue source for you and of course there should be a balance of politeness but to allow fraudulent statements to go unchallenged undermines the whole idea of an independent forum.
So on one hand your asking people to prove their identity but not to provide any proof of what they say. Pointless really.
