What if Shutterstock management decided to hold on to a majority of the Contributor payments so that they could have a very large balance of "Cash-at-Hand" for their End-Of-Year Report?
They can also liquid invest the amount for 10 days and earn interest on it.

For those who want permanent updates, the CC subscription is probably financially advantageous.
Anyone who bought a CS product back then and felt they didn't need every update would have been better off with the old model.
A Photoshop update was about $300 - I dont remember exactly. Anyone who didn't want new features every year, but felt that an update every 3 or 5 years was enough, would have saved a lot of money.
Even after less than 1.5 years, the old paid model would have been cheaper.
But I don't have the exact sums in my head anymore.
But to put it very roughly: if you wouldt update for 5 years, you would have saved just under $200 per year on the old Adobe CS model versus the CC.
I will still prefer the subscription model. You get continuous updates along with many more benefits from Adobe.

It is not fraud. You should have read the terms point carefully for free trial. As far as refund is concerned, I don't think you will get one.
The last you can do is get your credit card cancelled and no further payments will be deducted.

No one can say. Depositphotos is now owned by Vistaprint which is a "Dutch" but really owned by an "Irish" company, the speech marks because all of them are acually owned by a US company domiciled in Ireland for tax purposes.
Depositphotos was always a Russian company run from a letterbox in Florida anyways.
Now that's globalization

Yeah but then how will your system stay safe from getting hacked and other? The only way I can think of is having those things on another computer that doesn't go on the internet. Then that would solve that issue. Other then that , yet another pain in the @ss to deal with.
I cannot get your point when you say system being hacked? You are asking for adobe versions, how does this relate to hacking? Anyways, to your answer, yes, its always good to keep those files separately which do not require internet connection. Additionally, always use a total security antivirus and stay secured.

Wow you give your image for free !!! For those not happy about shutterstock new price if you give image for 5 $ you are total idiot. You kill the market forevor!!! sale drop this month about that.
I find this a better deal as this $5 is upfront for 1 year term and moreover if you upload 10000 design then 90-95% content do not sell or perform well.

Liable for what, just out of interest? If they had unpaid funds then fair enough, those should be paid out, but all agencies have the right to delete accounts at any time, and for any reason, so whether it was a mistake or not... they have no obligation to provide him with an active account.
Liable to pay the unpaid earning, liable for stopping further earning potential. Deleting account at any time for any reason is not justified. We should not support such doings.

Yes. I had a contributor account which I opened about 10 years back and have been uploading videos and photos there bit in last 1 year I was not uploading very actively. Still I used to log in to see if I got any sale. I could not log in there for last 1 or 2 months and then when I tried to log in it said wrong password. I tried some times and then chose "Forgot password" option to reset the password. But got no email. When I contacted their support I got reply that I don't have any account associated with my email. I checked in Adobe and there are my videos associated with my ID/Pond5. I sent those links to support but I got their reply saying due to some error my account has been deleted automatically and it can not be reinstated. Anyone had similar experience in pond 5 ? If so please share what did you do then ?
That's scary, if the account is deleted by some error then the company is liable for it. They should compensate you or take steps in restoring the account.

This stock used to float around 25-50 range, now they crossed $100 USD mark. They cleverly took all the greedy steps for the company. We contributors are crying. I lost almost 50% of my earning.

I think Elon could get into serious trouble with Doge. While he might be having fun with it, when it crashes, as it always does, many people will lose a lot of money. At least he can go to Mars
Elon is only playing with it. With his recent tweet he warned people to stay cautious and not to put their life earning in crypto.

Not sure if this is a good move or not.
Adobe has a huge loyal customer base, if they are introducing anything then they must have gone through a lot of research.
