Well I suppose that could be 3 at 5c each. ;-). I got a few similar it wasn't really worth the effort to try and work out from the site what they were actually for.

That is exactly the point. You have no idea. Great for the agency since they can basically do what they want and you won't know. It is difficult to trust an agency with such a lack of transparency.

Refusal to provide detailed sales reports (I asked) and next to no sales is why I removed my images from SignElements.

I wrote support.  They did not reply but the two .08 sales were changes to .31.

It's Monday.  They'll hit the reset button soon.

Found an image of mine on a DP partner site selling for $200, wonder what my cut would have been if it had sold (a lot less than 3%!). Cancelled all partner sites and don't upload anymore.

Which partner site?  I'd like to make sure I'm still opted out.

Thanks

I also received two .08 royalties.  I wrote support.  Hopefully it's some kind of mistake.

Exciting new: yesterday I have made a sale for $0.08!
123EF, the New iStock with 10 times less sales but with the same low commissions

Are you opted in for partner sales?

You know, I don't find where it is indicated on the site
But I never had a sale for such a low amount before.

Check account settings.  Payment details.

If they were hacked...  Could the reply links be malicious?

I'm up to 35.  Mixed travel, landscapes and objects.  One request was for a video.  Makes one wonder if it is legit.

Could be someone is serious about acquiring material for unlimited resale - webtemplates.

I searched some local landmark keywords (standard search).  I used to see lots of stock agency material in the results.  Now I hardly see any.  Seems they are favoring social media, etc.,.

Some contests require the transfer of all photo rights including copyright ownership... just for submitting.  Be sure to read the tiny fine print sections.

I got $194 last month with 21 sales. I got $117 this month with... 21 sales.

Your high quality videos deserve more.

Read this thread.. before deciding if Evanto is worthwhile:

Well there you go, you get $100 for 3 years, you pay some e-marketer, you get $700 in one month, I doubt that e-marketer is that good.
Were those $700 like 2800 subs or some fancy licenses?

I did not understand well what you meant
But it was $ 700 the on demand and enhanced downloads

Perhaps this person was evil, in all cases I think the issue was necessary to discuss it or even a warning not to repeat it, not kick me

Was your e-marketer using stolen credit cards or fake accounts?

What I don't get is that these thieves hurt SSs bottom line too. I would think they would want to find a fix.  I am baffled.

For every dollar we lose they lose three (or more).  I'm also baffled by the inaction.

I expect progressive states like California will pass their own net neutrality laws.  Red states will be left to indulge themselves...

Putting content on IG or any other social media is not a source of 'free' content for people.  You hold the copyright.  Without a license or permission it is illegal for anyone to use it.

not necessarily illegal. There are many countries with all sorts of funny copyright laws. In my country it's not illegal to stream copyright protected content as long as you don't save it (funny, huh?). Even in the US there is a "fair use" doctrine and defense.

Shutterstock customers want to buy legitimate licenses.  They don't want to risk an angry copyright owner causing grief...  Sure they can find free content if they want to but licenses are cheap.  Real companies don't need to risk it.

Does anyone know the pricing for the limited licenses?
