The suggestions it gives are terrible if you are not a native speaker. I put in: Three apples isolated on white. It gave these as GOOD keywords:
fruit, raw, attractive, tasty, brown, macro, nutrition, plant, freshness, vegetarian, fashion, black, pretty, single, ripe, delicious, cute, leaf, hand, lifestyle, group, vegetable, snack, business, face, bright, concept, look, design, vitamin, gourmet, model, blue, summer, close, male, meal, cheerful, juicy, dessert, cut, decoration, colorful, close-up, style, cook, orange, lady, hold, care
'isolated on white' is terrible words in description. I did not remove such kind of words (there are some more like New York and Los Angeles) which are highly used over all trained descriptions. Thus, my engine tried to match 'three apples' and those apples can be found in lot of photos...
If you want a picture of three apples isolated on a white background it sounds a pretty good description to me
OK. I give up. The worse your keywords are, the more likely my images are to be found. Have fun guys. spam spam spam spam spam spam spam...let's all singalong now......

Don't think I ever got a code but in my spam email folders etc there are hundreds and hundreds of emails with the keyword Adobe....thinks needle in haystack.....

Search your inbox for CompEXT, which is the sender of the code.
Thanks! Yes! That probably saved me LOTS of time! ))

As I understand it from 500px, the fact they say a photo is Licensed does not necessarily mean it is on sale with either Getty or China Group, just available to them if they so choose, while 500px themselves are clearly not selling anything anymore either.....
Out of interest, does anybody KNOW that 500px have got any of their images actually on Getty and/or China Group? If so, then how please?

First 10 days in Oct ok. Not great but ok overall, very variable but on average ok. One day 26 DLs and haven't seen anything like that for YEARS when it used to be the norm! Then bang, back to disaster. Weekdays often 5-10 DLs.

Anybody know how to contact them without using their site's email token system? I never get the email with a token, and the FB site also gets no response.
Email address would be nice.....but I have failed to find....
Alternatively, I have version 15 and cannot see how to set it up as a plugin on Photoshop CC. If you know, I'd be grateful and it would save me ever having to deal with Anthropics again - which would be brill!!!!

Definitely not a cap for me. Just wondering if there is a floor.....

"I never believed in the cap, but I must admit that Shutterstock are doing everything they can to try to make me change my mind: at the end of bad months, a string of high priced sales always magically occur to bring things back in line. So - if the cap exists - it works both ways, as a lower and upper limit." [/quote][/i] I wish.....!!!

OK, I'm not an exceptional photog BUT not many years ago (2? maybe 3?) 30 downloads a day was good and anything under 20 terrible. Then it became 20 was good and below...well...low was terrible. Now, I barely scrape double figures, even on weekdays, and those mainly subs. Looking for a niche....failing to find at this stage.....

Take no notice of Nobody. It's an 'in joke'. Yes, they are always tweaking the algorithm and really odd things do sometimes happen. Just how it is. Be grateful you are getting some spikes. At the moment I seem invisible....!!!

Does anyone here really think a letter (or a ton of letters) will make the slightest difference in their position??
StockSubmit helps you submit to a dozen (or more) agencies all at once. How do you think anyone at SS thinks that is an advantage to them? YOU may like the feature, but I very much doubt that SS likes it.
I am now retired, but spent my career in High Tech. I can assure you that they are looking for how to create a competitive advantage.
Making themselves fully compatible to an app that allow you to submit the exact same footage across multiple agencies? Nope. Not even in the top 100 features they are considering...
Yeah, you're probably right. Sadly. On the other they may just think they are missing out on content.....maybe....just...... Do they only want material from those who don't mind going through complex hoops for peanuts?

The obvious question is, why if you have once ounce of sanity would you even contemplate for a millisecond submitting to IS?
Because SS - is going down the pan FT - are ok, if you didn't get a face on following Dollar Photo Club DT - is dead AL - sells once in a blue moon and day jobs here are not that easy to find!!!!!!!
