Really bad. I saw many times that my sales are coming mostly from searches. This week it was nearly impossible to find my ss images by search. There was no problem with all other sites

When i had a full screen slide show on my site, i saw huge amount of downloads of some images included in this slideshow. When noticed this, i changed to another layout, it was quick with photodeck. That was useless traffic - those people come to take, not to buy. To social sites all images which i sell go with watermark.

One of biggest problems is to give definitions for commercial and editorial use. There are so many if not a majority of cases when pure commercial is close of mixed with editorial in the same publication, article, edition, book, show, site etc etc etc. And question of privileges and corruption for receiving of any kind of permission.

Some years ago i closed account there for big unwatermarked previews and unhelpful support. Never regret and with references from others it was a good choice. During time when my images were there, i had drop to 0 sales on all (!) other sites exactly for these images. Even if they have normal previews now, i have no wish to return

TOS...RE=contributors payout. Quote from SS Forum.
1/. They foresee declining earnings for contributers and to keep contributers who may not reach the $75 threahold each month from getting discouraged and stop uploading they lower it
2/. It will be more of an incentive for new contributers to join thus growing their contributer base and growing there collection with fresh images ( think of third world content i.e. India) and this applies to point 1 as well
3/ this can also be prep work for possible commision declines in the future ?

Absolutely logical. And in some locations for them is more cheap to have contracted photographer. Then they don't need to accept more expensive images.

Processing files from FTP finished, checkbox for editorial was checked. Seems it works finally.

Today in chat they told that they fixed the issue, but... my files in their ftp folder were moved only after discussion with support. Plus again found deleted before files. Uploaded some files for test today. Checked rejected files - 90% of them were files selling well on other sites, so this was a reason, IMHO - they try to stay "different". They took files which were not on top by popularity in my ports at competitors sites.

Still waiting. Several days ago they answered asking to upload several images. I did this, and these images are still visible with my FTP client, but not visible anywhere on site. Sent them a message and again waiting.

As idea it is beautiful. But not sure it can be used for real search in volume - many know how your eyes can be tired with normal flat presentation, but this one takes more efforts from eyes.
As a presentational tool, and for entertainment - absolutely ok.

Found images which were accidentally rejected because their system unchecked editorial checkbox, still on their site. And they were marked as editorial (after deletion!) But they are not in portfolio. Wrote to support and will really think to upload in future.

Signing this petition will not join you to any party. The question needs discussion, there is no solution for current problems and this can bring more other problems. Reasonable rules will give possibility to continue normally for businesses which work in mixed market, where commercial is side by side with editorial usage, otherwise many fails, corruption, privileges etc will receive more new fields to bloom. I think petition will do its work, not necessary in the same wording. Thank you to all who published analysis of situation, this helps
