If you can see their face you definatly need a model release and istock are even asking for releases now when you can't even see the face but can recognize the person by their surroundings etc.

Help me with the definition of exclusive. If I have several images that are essentially the same but each definitely from a different RAW file, can can each individual file be sent exclusive to different agencies?
I read once on the DT forums that an exclusive photo musn't have any photos up elsewhere of photos from one session with same models and same outfits even if the poses were completely different with different concepts.

I think it is only available to istock staff at the moment. They are using it to wikki whole batches at a time.

This happens a lot at SS but it always catches up in the end. Sometimes I have one amount on the home page, another one in details and yet another one when I click on the date and in my experience by the end of the day they are all the same.

They've been having a problem with images showing up without watermarks so they put photos back into the queue. You'll probably find that these were approved sold a couple of times and then went back into the queue.

istock you can delete yourself. Just open the file and scroll right down to bottom of page and you get the option to desactivate file.

I've always had to log out and log back in again before I can post which really annoys me but I've never had any problems once I've logged back in. I've just been and tried posting and for the first time ever I wasn't asked to log out and in so they must have been making some changes and not got it right. Contact support about it.

they are threatening to drop any un-disambiguated images to the back of the pack.
Only the ones that have been uploaded since they changed the rules. This doesn't apply to legacy images that people haven't had time to DA yet. Nothing annoys me more than seeing new images coming through with bad keywording and not beeing DA'd. They said that once they have put them to the back it will be easier to use the bulk tools and get rid of the real spamming.

I reckon FT are selling no more than 100 images a day instead of the 10,000 announced in their last press release.
I averaged nearly 12 a day last month (360 a month) with 400 on line so your reckoning is way off as I'm sure there are 100s of others that do the same or better than me.

Ok just realized that the main page is different, I always press 'show unread' so that it only shows the treads where I haven't read all the posts and it is a different format. Pressing the title takes you to top of page and pressing the little arrow icon on right takes you to the bottom.

If you click on the thread title it takes you to the top of the thread, if you click on the arrow it takes you to the bottom.

Miz seems to be one of the most misunderstood people I have read in the forums. I have seen him make jokes here and elsewhere in the past and people take him seriously and get upset but he just makes me laugh. Maybe we share the same warped humour.

- When submitting to a request, because it may take ages for the requestor to see it and maybe he buys something else or gives up before that. I haven't done lately and if I did with the current long waiting times in DT, I would email support to have them inspected quickly (though I don't know it would work in DT).
DT have inspected photos for me in a matter of hours if it's for a request and I e.mail them to let them know.

Or how about every 5 comments gets 1 entry into the sideshow...........but 100 dl's, is a bit of a slap down to the vast majority of contributors, really Bryan.
Whatever you do, don't do that or we will be back to the IS rating gang senario. Unless of course the ratings come from buyers.

I wrote to support to get my EL's all changed to 50 credits recently and it was done within 24 hours. I only get the occasional EL and was a bit worried that they would stop all together but have had one already so it was well worth it.

The majority of my downloads fo to Germany and France and of the rest most are to Europe. I love the fact that you can trace so many of the downloads. I have managed to find dozens this way. It's a shame the other sites don't provide this information.

Same here, they even excepted some without model releases at first but then after a few days started to reject them if I didn't get the model releases attatched quick enough. The problem is I sometimes forget to go back and add them so I've started moving them to folders once they have been keyworded.

Thanks everyone, it was a problem that seems to have been just in Spain and only with one of the major telephone companies. It happened once with istock and lasted days luckily this only lasted one day.
