I don't have Jet Pack and the only active plugins I have are contact form 7, related posts by taxonomy and sy email updates and notifications.

Looking at the source code on one of my pages doesn't show any width or height restrictions.  It could also be this crappy monitor.

I could've sworn I read something about that but can't seem to find the post.

My image pages looks like the jpg's have been compressed as they look a little blurry.  Is that normal and should I make a note about that.

Thanks.

I believe Leo was talking about how long it takes for the script to run and display to the end user.

Oh that question isn't stupid at all.  You're probably not the first to ask it and won't be the last either so don't worry about it  :)

Hey cascoly do I need to do something because it's still showing me as admin on the page.  I found all of that information and updated it or am I missing an update area somewhere.

Thanks.

Thanks.  I'll work with Yoast for now then down the road get Leo's plugin.

This is my graph from webmaster tools, I started my SEO after I uploaded everything.

I plan on doing that as well once I'm done uploading.

Not to hijack but does Yoast update the sitemap automatically or do you need to do that manually?

I have a hard time typing on anything with a touchpad.  I prefer the click, click, click of a regular keyboard.

Do I need to update my network after I'm done publishing images?

I see the same as PZF.

That's not good if the buyers side is offline.

That was very helpful.  I had to create the page first then tell it in the theme that's where the blog posts go.

Thanks :)

It says page not found.

Wonder if something happened during the site migration and that page (along with 2 others in Google's Webmaster Tools) didn't make it over there or I need to create them or something.

Symbiostock - General / Direct link to WP blog?
« on: August 12, 2013, 03:14 »
Apparently I'm extremely thick headed at 2:10am my time.  I can't seem to find a direct link to the Word Press blog.  I want to put that in my footer but for the life of me can't find it.

I also have a weird issue on my image pages there's a vertical line running down the side.  I don't have any widgets on the side of my image pages and the only thing I can think of it's in the css somewhere.  It showed up when I was working on my footer.

And while I'm thinking about it do I need to update network stuff after I'm done publishing images?

Thanks.

I'll just manually edit my keywords from now on.  It's probably an issue on my end with the database not reading them correctly when they process into WP.

Just glad I've only got 247 images to update and didn't have my entire port up to edit.  That would've been well over 1000.  I would've cried  :'(

290
It's cutting words off too.  Manual editing seems to be going fine.  Here's an example on this page.

http://images.mddu.com/image/3d-render-of-a-flow-chart-on-an-orange-background/?r=http://images.mddu.com

Keywords are reading this:

3d, abstract, backdrop, background, box, boxes, business, chart, con, design, flow, flow-chart, flowchart, graphic, illustration, rectangle, rectangles, rectangular, render, rendered, rendering, white

Should be this (course when I keyword they don't go into alphabetical order)

3d, render, rendered, rendering, background, backdrop, graphic, design, illustration, flow, chart, flowchart, flow-chart, white, box, boxes, rectangle, rectangular, rectangles, abstract, business, concept, conceptual, orange, white, solution, solutions, diagram, connect, connecting, connected, connection

It's cutting words off for some reason.  Not sure if it's the SY theme doing this or some setting in php.ini or getting mucked up through the database.

291
Not sure if anyone else has seen this issue before.

I'm working on uploading my vectors and thankfully didn't get too far into it before I noticed this.

And upon further review of my images already on my site it seems to have done the same thing.

Is this fixable or am I going to have to go in and manually edit all of the keywords?

292
Yeah, their new 6 month thing has me really irritated since I've been trying to focus on seasonal stuff. :/

Is that what that is?  I never got that email.

For me it depends.  I usually make a list of things that I'd like to do and go about making them.  Some files take minutes and others can take hours or days.  I get bored easily working on one image so I usually have a few unfinished going at once.

Then you have to ask yourself a few questions what will this image be used for, what product or service will this help sell.  The hardest thing is looking at your images from a buyers perspective.  I have a few images that I thought were just great buyers will gobble them up...wasn't the case.

Early on when I started in 2009 (and possibly before that) the mentality was to churn out as many images as you can.  Today that's not the case.

Quality definitely outweighs quantity.   Like Leo said focus on quality.

I won't do FAA since in order to get any exposure over there you have to pay for their yearly plan.  Makes me wonder why they even have the free model at all.

I have a blog and after I get done with uploading I'll pay more attention to it.  The blog on my SY site will just be for updates related to it but this one has everything I do on it.

www.mddu.com

Not much on it but that'll change once the dust settles.

It's a giant mess actually.  I just want to get to $50 and get out of there.  All of mine are set to 20%.  No way am I going to change it.  It's like a commission cut where those that have more than 15% won't get noticed and if you set it all to 15%, unless you're a pro seller and whatnot, still not likely to get seen in the millions of products on the site.

For me it's a no win situation  :-\

your photo topics:  I do 3d renders, vector illustrations and photography.  I don't really have a set thing that I do or a niche market.  I do a bit of everything.
what  you're looking for: Someone like me for similar and maybe artists that have people and food shots or any combination of both.

I have 107 images up online with another 100+ waiting on deck for edits as well as 100s of vectors waiting in the dugout.  Yeah I know, baseball :p

Awesome!  Thanks.

I just hope my database doesn't re-propagate from the old server and screw everything up.

299
Thanks ajt I've updated it.

I activated the network on my site.  Do I show up in it?  I should have about 32 images or so.
