Why somebody just dont say to this smacks on IS that they only have right to return money to contributors and too make they mendacious mouth shut with deep bow prepared to take kick in they greedy but.
I dont believe in they "donations" for Japan too. They will steal this money and eventually return few percent to exclusive contributors and then we will see another wave of Woo Yaing on they lets say forum.
If I'm taking your meaning correctly, you're saying something completely ridiculous: that IS would steal the donations intended for Japan.
I'm no apologist for IS, but if you're going to bluntly call them thieves, I think you need something to back that up.
Oh I see, but I will not be surprised at all even it is small amount. Rather its cheap marketing before end of first quarter to avoid tax and redirect money to Japan. Time will show us what is in they never ending greedy mind.

Yes, I have been having an ongoing battle with Istock over this. I removed my files over the summer, and got a snooty note from them to the effect that they were entitled to sell my images up til october, and they were going to go to the last day. Unfortunately, they kept going. They keep saying that it's all a mistake, or these are old sales, or whatever drivel they can dream up. They don't have the right to sell these files, but it's a question of how hard to push it. Perhaps I'll send them a bill for illegal usage and copyright infringement.
Or send them some kind of tax IRS inspection. Maybe IRS inspection can tell us for which day payment is for which month.

Here I find upload manual. Hope its not outdated.

They say this on the upload page:
FTP upload
This method is offered only to exclusive contributors. You must use your own FTP software to upload this way. ...More
Eh This message is when you click on video upload. You forgot that you/we have business with smacks Try to go to default upload page http://www.istockphoto.com/xnet.phpthen go to bottom right there is "Manage you FTP Account" and there you enter you desired name and pass for FTP client also find manual how to upload, its different from uploading to other stock sites but it is OK if you have PAL, NTSC and HD version of same video, also FTP upload is much faster.

Anybody tried to upload video to istock lately? I mean independents, those of us who are stuck with their idiotic web upload form. For videos. Over 100 MB size. Maybe 300. Anyway, the thing is - it keeps crashing with a nice message box with just an ok button. It's kinda annoying, especially after you upload 150 MB and you're at 92%.
On the other hand, is there a software like DeepMeta which can be used to upload video on istock?
As independant you can upload video thru FTP too. Only thing is that they have problem with FTP processing last 2-3 weeks like with they other F5 fallen things...

How can a reviewer wate his own and the contributors time by sending back files, asking to remove 2 keywords??? is that a joke or what? keywords such as concepts and ideas.!
Best PITA is when you edit this 2 keywords and after second upload they reject photo/illustration at all with LCV explanation: We're sorry, but we found the overall composition of this file lacking visual impact and therefore not suitable as stock. With the rapid growth of the iStock collection, we give valuable consideration to each file but unfortunately cannot accept all submissions. Please don't take it personally. This isn't necessarily a reflection of your skill, rather a decision by iStock to determine commercial applications for your illustration as royalty-free stock. What a RTRTD BSTRDS

They will send you mail about any sale and info where to find it. If it is regular sale they will send you mail shortly after that kind of sale, if it is subscription sale you will get mail for sales month before. Anyhow it is on same place where subscription sales are. In beginning its lets say confusive to track sales but if you define monthly period from first to fist day next month it is easy to track, like on fotolia.

Oh, come on, be reasonable. It's only disappeared from the Uploads page. Why on earth would you be looking for it there? You can access it from all sorts of places, like the Sitemail page, or the Contributors' Lounge.
Sweet ... dude ... very contributor friendly I cant believe that they are in deep battle with basic table. As they broke they vanabee social community they can throw away columns: Last comment (for what the hack purpose is that???), also ghoustly silhouette and OI letters in cloud. Why is necessary 3 words EDITORIAL USE ONLY (are they really think that contributors are stupid enough if in that column is one word lets say Editorial). I dont know what KKkonjson is doing and what kind of person is. (For me looks like vanabe yappy but in her/he/it late 40+ year after few liposuctions and with mini skirt under still fat bumpy legs and big hole in head with only one thing in that kind of jabber mind: (I will walk over corpses to realize what my greedy bosses imposed me after too much unsustainable lunch) Is it so hard for her to align all IS slobbery IT team in row and kick big slap in they faces and tell them to invent "Make It Good" key tomorrow. Maybe I am wrong and wasting time while making stress voodoo balls/dolls with IS/Gety names on it. It looks like they will just sink from stock scene by they own inability, ignorance, arrogance, an other negative human attributes...

I like wide effect because my monitor is wide...
This wide "effect" is OK. Seams biggest front thumb in industry. (Bad thing of that is screen shot as gift away for bloggers and little screen grabber fishes) (only on iStock you cant have wide monitor enough for they epic F5 sht)
