That's because this is not a new thing. The adjustment tab has always been there for everyone who had an adjustment and it happens to contributors each month for at least as long as I have been reading the forums, which is 2,5 years.
Do you expect SS to make an announcement each month saying "As always, some contributors had adjustments made to their earnings"? Other agencies also don't do this. As far as I know, Dreamstime is the only one who sends out e-mail notifications when a customer demands a refund, but the e-mail doesn't tell you more than that a refund was issued, no explanation as to why. The other agencies let you find out about it on your own, just like Shutterstock.

I know it sucks and all, but that's certainly not a Shutterstock problem. As far as I know, each agency is allowing refunds to customers and the problem is much worse on other agencies, like iStock for example or Alamy. On Alamy I seem to have more refunds than sales sometimes and even had a negative earning balance because of that in the past. (And the customer who got a refund was still using my image online....)

Well I've been with shittystock since 2009 and never saw anyone mentioning adjustments.  I just did a search on the fourm for "adjustments" and the only mentions are in January/February

This thread reminded me to check on my GL stock account - there have been no sales there in years. I don't expect to live long enough to get from the current $20+ balance to $50, so I've deleted my best sellers and written to them to request they close my account.

It's outrageous that they should fall flat on their faces and still refuse to pay balances, in spite of what the contributor agreement states. I asked to be paid, but I don't expect them to suddenly grow a conscience. It was a pain to delete a selection of images, but it avoids growing my losses there should a sale just happen by before they get around to deleting my account.

They don't payout for less than $50 you lose it if you close your account

I checked their T&Cs

GLStock will pay to you amounts earned as a Seller and Referral Commissions earned by you in accordance with clause 18 subject to the following conditions:

    If you have earned more than $50.00 in your account, then GLStock will pay a minimum of $50.00 through a Payment Agent (and in no other manner).
    Other than as provided for in clause 13, GLStock will not pay any earnings or Referral Commissions standing to your credit in your Member Account which are less than $50.00 in total but you may use this to buy Images.

I haven't had a sale in two years and I begrudge them having the $38 that's stuck in their system while they don't sell my images

If its any consolation I made $353.21 in total for Jan though I don't do video I did pick up some good TV rights sales from one Agency.

Shittystock was a bust at $100 for 218 sales 46 cents on average.  I'm averaging $114 per month since May 2020 compared to $180 average for the same period 2019.

So besides cutting their rates its seems these people can't even maintain things their end

Needless to say I can't be bothered re-uploading any of the images

Used to spend a lot of time trying to get stuff in live news only to be dropped in the great cull along with a lot of other photographers.

Pond 5 is geared towards video and Alamy is geared towards editorial so I doubt you'll get any sales
