I seem to recall the CEO of Mostphotos was doing that. I thought at the time that this is a Global industry, targeting one small corner of the globe does not make sense to me.

Crestock have reject my 3d rendered images because they are not vectors! All my illustrations have been rejected because they say :"Images of this nature are usually submitted as vectors. Vectors are of superior quality, making them more commercially valuable." 3d renders and vectors are totally different animals. I won't be submitting any more images to them.

Isn't that why they have categories? I think they are way ahead of you.

I am not at home now, no camera with me, but I am sure I saw shutter activations on one of the menu options on my 5d II. Try going through the menu.

You definitely need a 'none' button. I made more money this December on all these sites.

I have tried to duplicate this on my camera. Live View does not freeze at all. I scrolled through the 'Info' settings numerous times, and used it with different info settings displayed. I have left the camera unattended for varying lengths of time, with different settings displayed. No problems, it never locked up, and worked perfectly.
Now if I can just get out of the habit of lifting it to my eye when I am ready to shoot!

I have a tiny portfolio an Alamy, something I plan to change in the New Year. When I have grown it to something that will generate income, I may reconsider my vote today.

Shutterstock is way out in front, with Fotolia next. Then SX, and the rest trail miles behind.

Here in Northern England it is cold and crisp. The sky is full of fluffy white clouds, and the sun is shining. It was warm enough to walk round the garden without a coat, but not for too long! Rain is forecast for later, so I have been enjoying it while I can.

I have got my new camera and two weeks off work, so I will probably be uploading.

I collected mine this morning from Calmuet in Liverpool in the UK. I am waiting impatiently for the battery to charge. Why could they not use the same battery as the 5D?

I voted for Dreamstime, and would put Shutterstock close behind. Dreamstime is not my best earner, but I like the way they run things and I think they are heading in the right direction. It is not just about highest earnings, but attitude to the contributors. I hope Dreamstime's fairness and open-handed attitude can continue in the future.

I also had an 87 cent commission on Saturday. I looked round the site, including the forum, but cannot see any explanation.

I emailed Adorama. They replied that they are getting a shipment next week, and I will know if I get one of the cameras from that shipment if I receive a despatch email.Fingers crossed!

I think we should have a poll before any action is taken.

Helix, The big difference is the the lawnmower manufacturer has sold the goods to Sears. The Microstock sites do not buy our images, they act as agents for the sale.

I monitor incoming emails for the company I work for. Usually I delete a couple of thousand spam mails every morning, this morning it was much less than half that. A lot less work for me!

I was with Red Bubble for a while until about a year ago. I left because the watermarks were inadequate, and totlearnings were not recorded properly. These things may have been corrected since, but Zazzle is a much better site.
