Helen has just emailed me to confirm that my order is OK and going through when the cameras are available. -Thanks Helen. The bad news is that preorders don't get the discount. I will still use the discount to buy a couple of lenses though.

Hi Helen, Thanks for replying. The delivery address is the same as my credit card address, that is why I am so puzzled. Fred also asked for a copy of my credit card, but there is no way I am transmitting that. I have sent my credit card details, but have heard no more. I hope I am going to get a camera eventually!

I can log in, but every time I go to a new page it wants me to log in again!

I just had this one rejected at IS with the reason: "We could not find a clear center focal point for this file." Now, If I can just work out how to focus an illustration, I can resubmit it!

I pre ordered the 5dII a couple of weeks ago. Has anyone else who pre ordered been asked to fax a copy of their credit card statement? I have not faxed it yet because I am not very happy about it. Is this normal business practice in the US? I have never been asked to do this before.

Last year I damaged the shutter on my 5d, and it was away for repair for three weeks. I was very glad I had kept my 20d as backup, three weeks without taking a picture would be torture!

Such sad news. He taught me a few good tricks in Photoshop. I will remember him when I use them.

Watch out for competitions run by the BBC in the UK. They nearly always want to retain the rights. We are all doing this for the money (aren't we?). Unless the first prize is a super camera, I would prefer a cash prize.

I am making a few sales, enough to keep me interested in uploading. I won't upload to sites that waste my time. I have had a couple of $24 commissions, which are nice!

That's a relief, I thought I would have a load of hassle getting it sorted, but if it is everybody, Snapvillage are the one's with the problem!

When I have to sell my camera to buy food, then I will worry, but not before.

I clean my sensor every couple of months with a dust blower and Sensor Pen.It is so easy, I don't know why I was worried the first time! I also carry a Lens pen for quick lens clean ups.

It is great to have a response like this from a company. Thanks Helen. I look forward to dealing with Adorama in the future.

I would buy from Adorama if the deal was right. Here in the UK, prices are way more expensive than in the US. I have bought lenses from the US in the past, and saved loads of money. There is a vast customer base just waiting to be tapped!

I have not uploaded anything (Anywhere!) for over 2 months.
Sales at Fotolia are great.

I have recently had good sales on images uploaded in 2005 that had very few sales before. Predictions are pointless, it depends on the images and the current trends in the market. My best selling images have earned hundreds of dollars on both SS and IS, but have hardly sold at all on all the other sites.

7%, helped improve a rather poor month.

August is my best month ever on Fotolia. They have been my highest earning site this month for the first time ever, thanks to a number of extended licence sales. They usually come second to SS, but the gap between them has been narrowing month by month.
