We are in the US and we pay about 30% for all taxes. That does not include health insurance , though, we pay for health insurance on top of that and healthcare here, in a word, is horrible. And our hospital is ranked in the top ten of the nation, so no idea how bad can it be in other places. Roads are in bad conditions, repairing and traffic jam at all times and all days. Schools? Forget about public schools, and sending your kids to private schools will take 30-50% more out of your income, depending on how many kids you have.
Wow, that completely changes my view about US... :| I was sure it's 100% opposite! And now it sounds very familiar. I'm in Poland too, where healthcare, school and roads are far away from what it should be... About taxes - when we sell at micros we can't put this income to company. It changed lately and the funniest thing is that even government couldn't make the decision how we must pay faxes last decision is: even if you do company where you do photo service (weddings, children, etc), but you do micros yourself, you mustn't include micros income into company. It can be taxed as individual artist income and then you have 50% free as costs of production, and from next 50% you pay the taxes... (19% I guess, but not sure as my taxman is doing this for me). http://podatki.gazetaprawna.pl/artykuly/771582,prawa-autorskie-fiskus-zmienia-podejscie-do-tworcow-z-firma.htmlMany tax men don't have idea how to work with us

Our subscriptions with extended licence rights will include one of the following: Corporate-Licence, Social Media- (new) and/or PR-Licence.
You will continue to receive 0,46 EUR for extended licence susbcription downloads.
Huh how noble and generous... maybe PM should furthermore add sell copyright for this big bucks
I'm affraid many people will not care, just make any money. We saw that before with other "great" agencies examples Again, I'm glad I left PM months ago. It's not going right direction. "0,46 EUR for extended licence"? LoooLLL!

Do you have files there or is this a double steal? You mean on Stockvault? Nope. I've found my images used from other platform, none of this two above.

Whats up with the public keelhauling? Email Alamy, email the photographer, why choose this forum?
That's why: I didn't even know about Alamys similars policy.

Alamy doesn't want series of similar images.Read the red: http://www.alamy.com/contributor/help/prepare-images.aspI must say, this is iritating when I find portfolio with series of the same files. Why do people upload that? Thread removed from that one: I forgot to ask about one more thing. Why does Alamy accept so many similarities? Some of lots examples:
E4PN3H DWD847 DW4C26 (watch whole gallery)
etc...
Look at "Similar stock photos", the same author.
I don't get it, what is the sense of uploading dozens, hundreds of (almost) the same images? We don't help to our clients Does it matter at all?
You should review the photos more accurately When I see this: E3FEAC RF E3FEHN RF E3FEHT RF E38AYK RF E38AYT RF E38AYY RF or this E2MJWP RF E2MK1J RF E2MK1N RF E36N5J RF E36N5Y RF E36N9G RF I have difficulties to believe that you review the images.
This is not the correct thread for that; it'd be better to have a separate thread, in case similar situations like this one are found.
However, if I were Alamy, I'd boot this person right off the site. That's a flagrant violation of their similars policy: uploading half a dozen copies of the SAME FILE. She had been uploading only 3 each, but for some reason recently decided that wasn't enough.
I don't know why someone who is this talented would do such a thing. Here's her port on DT; it's superb: http://www.dreamstime.com/gornostaj_more-latest-adition_pg1

Dear Alamy, whatever you'll change after this thread I want you to know that I really appreciate your move, your interest in what your contributors want. This is unusual and you're doing that not first time. For me you are the only one honest and trust worth agency that respects authors. Keep it going and I wish you (us) all the best! You rule!About my ideas... I wish to get FTP account for stock photos/ regular uploads. The browser uploader gets errors sometimes and it's time consuming. Keywording in one part, not three. I waste to much time in separating it even if I prepare files with IPTC earlier. But maybe your search system can't work well then? Intelligent batch edit that doesn't lose/clear all info when add more files to batch. I mean if I want to add "flower" keyword to 50 files, let me do this as add option, not to fill all info again. I use caption and description and I wouldn't change that part. In attributes I used to think there's to much clicking, but no, it's all needed info. We need that. Clients need that. Ok, I really hate the problem with model release needed to part of human finger on image. Nobody is recognisable when I use his part of hand holding fruit, I guess... Some other thoughts: Why don't you stop refunds after more than one month? Can we get 50% of distributor's sales? What can we (all) do to improve sales and keep price level? Really, my dream is to see Alamy in the first place on the right poll column!

On a related note, 123RF wants to add me to the EVO collection. Anything funny there? They say no subs. I will go see what I can find.
And did you find anything interesting, Sean?

That's fair and I'm glad you all fixed this issue. It demonstrates a measure of fairness.
Hi Everyone,
We understand your concern and I am glad to report that in the next few days, we will no longer feature your portfolio at any API Partner Reseller site, if you have opted out from the Partner Reseller program.
Thank you,
Alex.
Good (black) joke!

Well, you are making a point for why macrostock images are priced significantly higher than microstock. So why are you selling high-res images at $10 through Inmagine then? ..... Few months ago I asked InMagine about selling direct. Here's what they said: "Photos are submitted on a non-exclusive basis. You may submit and continue to sell your photos to other websites and stock photo agencies. However, do take note that under the Inmagine Contributor Agreement, you should not license your photos at a lower price elsewhere."Sounds interesting, huh? For me it's pretty messy thing in 123RF API case. Edit. By accident I've just found this: http://www.microstockgroup.com/123royaltyfree-com/my-pictures-on-inmagine-without-reference-to-my-name/Looks like nothing changed for 3 years (or more?).

I just wonder and still can't imagine, how come people didn't know about it? Why it looks like some secret and then suddenly boom and oops?! Where did you write about % details so your contributors know what they are accepting?

One huge LOL from me... It was fast to be honest. Did they ever actually open, or were they in Beta this whole time? I uploaded ONE file. It was in pending for very long weeks. After my email they reviewed it. I never had enought power to upload the second one... Luckily.

I miss 0,34 $ to get out of this (months and sales are sooo slooowww)... don't know what to say here...
Some people say - welcome to the micros world. I say - goodbye micros for good!
No more wasting my time and nerves for you to earn on it. Sad.

He had one of mine too but his keywords were different. Mostly relevant but including some spammed keywords. perhaps he thought he wouldn't get caught with different keywords?
Well, lie has short legs...

Since two months 123RF is dead for me. Today 11 Oct, monthly download statistic is still showing "you have no downloads yet", In September my total was 1 download. Anybody else facing this problem ?
Same here, one in Sept. and none in Oct... Over 500 files that do my payments on SS every month...
