It's obvious. Aliens have invaded Shutterstock and it's on self destruct.

Don't forget they are using our images in this app.
And for free. I guess THIS is why they invented the gigantic preview. I mean, shouldn't we get a compensation for this image use??? What do you think??? 329

Have you checked out Shutterstock Tab 1.1.2 ?
It's a Chrome extension. Everytime you open a new tab you get the time and weather with a lovely contributor image from Shutterstock. http://www.shutterstock.com/blog/try-shutterstock-tab-time-weather-and-inspiration-at-your-fingertips?utm_content=buffera7640&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer Wonder what WE are getting out of this? 330

S/he may be back under some other username. We better watch out. Stock agencies have zillions of images... The agencies are not too interested in exposing a thief. After all it is not their work.
Well done stvagna for exposing this thief!! 👍👍👍 333

Dreamstime.com / Re: Do you believe that DT is dying?« on: November 25, 2015, 10:27 »A few days ago, I got an email from DT that someone wants to buy one of my photos as P-EL and if I agree, I should enable that checkbox that allows EL licensing. So I did that witihin half an hour after I received e-mail. But my earning balance hasn't changed since then so obviously buyer didn't buy that photo (yet?). People are like that. They "want to" buy and then they just disappear. It's not Dreamstime 's fault. 335

Maybe it's an error in their system. Email them and ask.

Don't know if there are any 'new' websites to discover, was thinking of doing more freelance work and selling directly. I do these from time to time. SS has the largest preview from any other agency and the weakest watermark on top of that. At least there is more time now to do the Fotolia and IStock keywording properly, ☺ enjoy both of these sites. 337

Don't know just yet. Pulling the entire port would be drastic. Depends if there are other changes coming. 338
Shutterstock.com / Re: Large image previews on SS ?« on: November 17, 2015, 15:06 »
For me the huge preview is the primary concern. Due to that, I am not uploading to SS. There are other agencies and other ways to earn with photography, and this is actually a great opportunity to discover them, maybe move on to the better. SS was my comfort zone.
Also....I signed the petition and feel that since I did that, it means something. 339
Dreamstime.com / Re: Do you believe that DT is dying?« on: November 16, 2015, 15:38 »
For me DT has been okay,
with sales every day. Just had 6 sales per day. 340
Shutterstock.com / Re: Large image previews on SS ?« on: November 16, 2015, 14:17 »I have not uploaded in weeks but it would be insane to delete my entire portfolio - all the images are in the wild anyway. I'm hoping my new images will find a nice home somewhere... Agree. I haven't uploaded anything either and I will not upload, if they'll keep insane preview & save feature. I work hard for my images and the free download 1500X1100 with that pathetic watermark makes me feel sick. 341

Google is helpful .... Search ' how to remove watermark photo ' and you come up with plenty of results and there are even software for this thieving. Knowledge of Photoshop tools isn't necessary.
There are sites that sell stolen images. Check out Fiverr."I will give you x amount of stock photos for 5$. 343
Shutterstock.com / Re: Large image previews on SS ?« on: November 10, 2015, 16:06 »The problem is the super huge preview. You can download the image at 1500 * 1100 which is insane. The v2 watermark is too weak on many images. Yes it does work fine with the large preview.... for thieves! 344
Shutterstock.com / Re: Large image previews on SS ?« on: November 10, 2015, 16:03 »
Yes. V3 would be safer, less photos would end up stolen, and both contributors and SS would make more money. 345

123RF / Re: Anyone notice that 123rf change the "preview" images which free to save« on: November 03, 2015, 05:09 »
What do you think of the 123rf preview/ watermark? For me, it's better than SS but on some images you really have to search "where is the watermark".
They're those with textured background, like forest, fabric, brown, green, grey middle shades. They too offer a large preview 1300*866, and you can save the image. 349

Checked my sales - everything looks normal there so far, but anything can happen with SS.
