in the last 6 month the price was changed at least 3 times

... yep, make that 4

it would be so cool if they deal with bugs as fast as they raise prices :D

dont know about you guys but England kind of dissapointed me, very weak and defensive, not usual from them, looking forward to other matches... Shevchenko on the other hand was incredible, wasnt he "injured" on his back?? :o

They probably played for a draw, since it would be enough. Ukraine and Sweden will be a piece of cake, especially ENG:UKR when Rooney gets back and shows Shevchenko what time it is. I'm so glad Englad finally has a great keeper and defense is solid as well, with Gerrard (why???) playing as defensive midfielder in front of the Chelsea's brick wall. Not nice to watch, I agree, pure tactics, but so were all the games so far, except for SWE:UKR. Portugal disappointed me the most, their style was diametrically opposed to what we're used to, for what I love them. CR didn't show much either, nor did Nani, which is my fav Portuguese player

right, Portugal was dissapointing, I hope that tomorrow they will play as they should and know! that said I believe we deserved at least a draw against Germany but its football and the goals are the more important...

regarding CR I saw some stats saying he touched the ball only 33 times, which tells how Germany havent allowed him to play his best, not an excuse yep but there werent much times where he was "alone"

Has the name change killed it?

After having a reasonable month last month, I have had a SINGLE image view since the change, 11 days ago!!

Anyone else?

where do you see the views ??

In the contributor login section, there is the menu on the left, I think it's just above royalties from memory. It doesn't show which images have had views, just a total amount of views for the day.

how curious.. never checked it before.. that said quite low views this month, I believe it hasnt been updated..

I wouldn't worry about it too much a 1 credit XS for 9 cents comes out to a 23 credit XXXL for $2.07, aren't you selling those same XXXL files at SS for at most 38 cents or about 1.5 cents per credit?  Just a little different perspective.

Your 'perspective' is sadly distorted. Microstock is not and has never has been about RPD. It's a volume thing. If RPD is such a big deal to you then sell your stuff at RM prices.

My earnings at IS peaked just over 2 years ago with an RPD of $1.25. Nowadays my RPD at IS is about $1.89 but my earnings have almost halved as volume has shrunk by 55%.

Over the same period my earnings at SS are up 50% and considerably higher than those at IS despite an RPD of just 66c. It's a volume thing.

guess we can close this topic ;D

I don't have any XXXL images on SS (that I know of), but mostly I was disagreeing with the "at most" and "max" that you said. Although I haven't had any I think the max is up around 90$ (although highly unlikely). 2.85 is quite common and 5 something not that rare. Actually selling the XXXL at a PP site for .28 or whatever they offer is more likely if IS ever gets the stuff ported over.
We are talking about low numbers here not ELs or $90 sales, the vast majority of sales at SS are sub sales which at the best give 38 cents.  My friend on SS with about 1000 sales has an RPD of 35 cents even counting some video sales, els, on demand etc..  My point is that a vast majority of sales at SS are paying a lower amount (by a lot) if you looked at them like IS credit sales.

I agree with what you are saying BUT the ODs and other are increasing, that said RPD is lot higher than 35 cents, last month had 0.67$ (yes it is higher on IS but a lot less money)

All I can say is that some agencies also include the description or even the title in the search so if you might have added the term Euros in the description but not the keywords it still may get picked up.

not in FT once robynmac description have OLIVES ::)

this topic got me to another thing, how often buyers search for tags like:

"indian spices" - 53 results instead of indian spices - 2686 results

I'm new here and new to microstock, I have a Dreamstime account (4 sales so far) and a bigstockphoto account (no sales) looking forward to getting some tips  :)

read! :D
luissantos84's advice is invaluable at times  :-\

Every now and then I'll step in to "translate" his statements. What he is saying is that you should kindly take advantage of the search feature on this forum to read up on the basics of microstock.

Many questions can be answered by simply browsing the various sub forums. If you still have questions and cannot find an answer you are most welcome to post it here on the forum or send luissantos84 a PM to get a more detailed answer.

Thanks for becoming part of MSG  :)

ahahah sometimes I dont have time to explain that detailed, I always try to help out if I know, that said there are tons of other here that are way more gifted explaining ;D

Cro:Irl game saved the day. At least some decent footy, a few goal, attacking, not just defending and/or passing the ball in the middle of the pitch most of the time

Ireland wasnt bad at all, kind of surprised actually, that said the referee team wasnt on Ireland side too...

3943
ITA:SPA game was even worse than I expected. Spaniards didn't have a single striker in their starting XI :o

Agree but I believe Spain deserved a little more, Italy played as usual on their defense waiting for the right moment

you guys need to start answering emails too :-\

or are we going for only top contributors?

That's exactly what I was wondering.  I hate to go through all the uploading work to have SF level sales. And the sub thing, unfortunately, is a proven model that even the likes of Pocketstock can't, in some form, pass on.

Not just Top Contributors ... I got an email from therm.   :-[

and ?  ;D

And they love me.   ;D

Don't you just sign up as a contributor? I didn't see any pre-qualification process.

he is jokking :D

Well, SH_T if they love him maybe they will at least like me a little. :P

Hmmmm... maybe I spoke out of turn.  I just assumed it was a mass mailing.  I trashed it.   :-\

havent got that one, only know them from here
