Thanks installed. Just got one registration. Looked like a genuine registration but didn't buy anything so sent an email to check if any issue with the email/account.
Some people take a few hours to decide if they want a picture. If they were not a genuine registration you have just given someone your email address. Try the plug-in Anti-Captcha, the only people I have had registering since I installed this have been buyers and other members of the Symbiostock community, stopped all those robot registrations dead

There are two places to change the filter so I will try and get this the rightway around just in case anyone has not discovered both yet
Network page sets what you see on other sites
Author options page sets the default for images on your own site

Sorry, I had noticed that some of the others who are using your clean theme do not have a full category page so thought it was something within the theme - I like the way you have put them in columns

1. How exactly do I install 2.5.5 without deleting my whole site and all the work done to date? Very Carefully and with great difficulty going though the code bit by bit to see what has changed
Would advise you (again  ) to download and use the free child theme and make changes to that so you will not get this problem again2. I dont want to rank my images so I leave them all on 2. That should be no problem right? No problem as far as I can see3. I dont have any nudes, so I leave them all on unrated. But I think its best to set them all on green for future purpose? Correct? I would set them to green so that they are found if someone later starts hiding unrated - Leo 4. How exactly does the filtering system work? How do I need to set my filters if I want to show all results of myself and the network? set them to green - Leo has done a post on this in the development area5. Is the keyword phrase search problem resolved? If so, I have split up all my compound keywords, and Leo said I could do a back up once the search was fixed. But I have no clue how to do that back up? Any ideas? I think this is mentioned somewhere in the forum - probably the closed bug reporting thread

It looks like you are using Amanda's Clean and Simple Child Theme ? That does have the page will all categories disabled. It will probably be easiest to ask Amanda directly for help on this. I like having the full category page and numbers visible as well, I find it very useful

I do not fully understand your question
In the main category list numbers appear (you seem to have disabled this) but in the drop down menu you only know how many there are when you click on a category and see the number at the top of the page

Sorry to hear you have had problems with Justhost - I have not noticed any outages and found their customer support helpful (usually online "chat" but have actually rung them in the past)
You are not the only one new to css and php, the first time I was advised to change something in the child them I thought "what, how, where" then found the child them only to discover there was nothing in it to change which confused me even more. Eventually I got there though using Firebug and the edit thingy in Chrome. Usually have Chrome open to try and find the bits I want to edit and find it easier and more responsive than Firefox's Firebug

I'm a little sad no one has abandoned a cart on my site. I get lots of visitors using very specific search terms, but they don't follow through to buy. Guess I need to tweak some useability/visual appeal on my site....
You should have an abandoned cart now - just to keep you happy  I did notice something strange though. I clicked on download - logged in (already have an account) and got a "oops page not found" page come up, ignored it and clicked back and went back to the image page to download (or not )

Leo - Go Away and have a rest, forget that the forum (and the network) exists for a few weeks, we will manage to survive without you for a while - not permanently but I think we are all capable now of working most things out between ourselves. You keep saying you are going to take time off but then pop up again, get your wife to change your log in or hide your computer for a few weeks, you deserve a break after putting this together with so few of us able to help with the programming side of things. You are appreciated - very much so - now please just go away and enjoy your summer with your family !

On a related note is anyone finding that they don't get all images up when searching in the All Images (Ladybird) section?
I have about 248 dogs if I search on the customer side of my site, when searching in the back end I only get 84, and three of those are dogwood not actual dogs?

Method of updating - probably depends which version you are on but with some of them you did have to go back to old method of deleting and re-uploading
I would imagine posting comments on Symbiostock means Leo does not have to come here which will help with his time out?

I have been splitting out my keywords since the early days when I realised it only found single words. So if anyone finds any obvious errors in searches then shout and I will edit them as we may as well keep this as keyword-spam free as we can

My Wordfence plugin shows today a bunch of very precise google searches landing on my site. Guess half of the images never showed up because of this.

Do you have keywords for most of the searches that don't find anything and appear to land on your site. I think that a lot of them are done though the network especially AJT's strawberry and do not find anything because I do not have the correct keywords

I have discovered the answer to this in the last few months but can only give you a non technical answer The child theme is something you install and activate and make any changes on. It is related to the main theme but if you make your changes on the child theme you do not lose them everytime you update the parent theme. You can download one from here http://www.symbiostock.com/download/ - install it the same way as you did the main theme so it is shown as active. This is a more technical answer - http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/wordpress-child-theme-pros-cons/The answer is though that yes, you will benefit from having the symbiostock child theme.

Probably but you would have to root around in your download (if you downloaded the theme) to find it. Up until now there have been regular updates which means reinstalling main them quite often to keep up with them so it is not a major undertaking.

I don't know is the honest answer. If you have made changes to the theme then yes quite likely, if you have made changes using a child theme as recommended then no, your changes should stay.
