Still in its infancy, but kindof interesting. I guess its for mainly editorial photos (although they do have shots of flowers and brides). It's a viral type of photo licensing.
420 photos total and the site is almost four years old?
I think I'll wait and see. 
Where do you see 4 years old? It says their private policy and all the things on the blog were posted just a week ago.

I am done with FT. 600 pictures no sales. When my 6 month are up at DT I am going IS exclusive. The worst outfit of all the micros.
I have a hard time believing that... Sales are picking up quite a bit for me lately. I get about 2-3 sales per day with 310 files.

Took awhile, but I'm glad I waited it out instead of buying other people's images with the earnings I had made. Sales have picked up for me a little this month too.

I have 40 files at Istockphoto. I make $45+ a month there. At that rate, 1,000 photos would be $1125 a month.
You must be getting a lot of extended licenses. I see 102 downloads in in the 12 months.
I started uploading to IS 4 months ago and average around $1.50/download. Most of my sales come from my illustrations which tend to be downloaded at larger sizes. Not to mention the recent price increase, which has been getting me lots of $2-4 L and XL downloads. I have not gotten a single extended license from IS though.

With 1000 good Photos i make more than 1000.- $ every month at macrostocks like Alamy. And i get 65% there... Here is something wrong....
I have 40 files at Istockphoto. I make $45+ a month there. At that rate, 1,000 photos would be $1125 a month.

The last time I uploaded, which was only a couple days ago, it took less than 24 hours for them to get reviewed. (and approved)

It came in 3rd for me last month, down from 2nd. Sales are slowing it seems. Dreamstime on the other hand is really picking up. So is Fotolia and Istock.

I was about 90-95% acceptance rate on FT until today, all 15 rejected for Type of Photograph. Nearly all were approved on SS/IS/StockXpert/DT. Don't have much motivation to upload there since the income is low and uploading is a bit of a pain. Maybe the price increase will help motivate me.

Given that SS has raised the commission to contributors by 5 cents the last few years, it will probably be the same again. They do seem to be losing some customers to DT and StockXpert, so they will have to come up with something to keep the buyers and contributors happy. I wish they would have pay per download on their main site. Just having subscriptions doesn't seem like the best way to make the most money from our images.
I agree that they should have some sort of pay-per download on their main site. Crestock pulls it off nicely with a simple $5 small $10 medium $15 large. Sure, it's not very common to get one of those downloads, but they are a nice boost, even at the 20% commission that Crestock gives. I suggested this on SS forums but was shot down by pretty much everyone.

24 downloads so far this month. $9.75. Average of about .40c per download. Thats with 167 files. Huge increase over November and December. Looks like their marketing is paying off.

CanStockPhoto/LO/Alumo/ maybe even SnapVillage all seem like a fish out of water at the moment. (for me at least). Crestock on the other hand is out performing Bigstockphoto for me this month. I don't see them dying anytime soon.

Old news. But like others here, my earnings have really gone up a lot at DT this month. Could possibly take 2nd away from StockXpert, which hasn't been doing so good.

I have had no real problems with StockXpert reviews. Hell they even accepted some of my sunset pictures. I thought for sure those were going to get the "thanks, but we're not looking for such images at this time" rejection. I suppose you could always just resubmit ones that you think have been rejected in error.
