I thought that all the reviewers knew that "ISOLATED ON WHITE" does not get rejected for composition!!!!!

Someone taught that reviewer wrong and is still around I see!!!!

Maybe, he can't find parking for his Ferrari in the city.  ;)

he has a helicopter ;D
And even if he had a Ferrari in N.Y. City I doubt very much that there would be any problems finding somewhere to park it. :)

« on: July 01, 2013, 12:49 »
Hi, the review process is now correct. There was a time when it took 2week for reviewing any batch. But now it is super corrected. The latest review of my batch took not more than 11hours.
I would recommend you to contact the shutterstock support and see how can they help.
Lucky you!

And a few others.

On day 4 and waiting still.

So that throws out the first in first out since yours were submitted after mine and got reviewed before mine huh?

Not sure what could be the case. Happened to me yesterday... uploaded in early morning and was approved later in evening.
The First-in and First-out depends to which reviewer the batch went to.
No it doesn't it goes by Batch #'s and picture ID#'s.

Doesn't make a difference who the reviewer is.

So..... after not uploading on SS for many weeks I decided to upload a single cow vector. It got reviewed fast (If you call it reviewed) but rejected for this reason. "Similar Submissions--Too many of the same subject. Please see Shutterbuzz for more info"  Does this mean I can never do another cow on SS ever again in my whole life...ever ever never ever again even if it is the best vector cow in the world? I could understand if I just submitted a batch of 50 photos of the very same cow....but a single vector art cow submitted alone?
See post in forum.

SOme coins are trademarked as well like Canadian coins

http://www.shutterstock.com/buzz/legal/stock-photo-restrictions

Thanks for the info, Ron. These were British Britannia which are not listed there. But it's good to know about the Canadian coins as I was planning on lending some to shoot.
If it has the queen they are a no go.

Looks like it is still crap!

No uploads from me anymore till this joke of a system gets fix and works right!

123 has gone from the quickest easiest system there was for uploading to what we can now call the slowest and worst of them all.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for your patience. It's near Friday and I hope to report the progress on the upload system at 123RF.

As promised, we have included a time estimation when you queue files for processing with us.
We have really thrown the book at the system by queuing batches of 4000+ files from one portfolio into it and stress testing it out.
It seems to be able to queue files gracefully and display the correct error messages when it encounters any problems instead of stalling.

If you click on the "Processing Queue" tab, the reporting on the estimated time it takes to process your files seems to be correct now. And the proper errors are also being displayed here.

As for problems with keywords and descriptions, you may also opt to use the "Upload CSV" tool to help with the mapping:
http://submit.123rf.com/images_uploadcsv.php

Alternatively, you may click on the "Completed Images" tab to complete your description and keywording activities.
http://submit.123rf.com/myuploaded.php

Thank you very much, if you find the system still bugging out on you, please feel free to email [email protected].

Alex.
Thanks Alex lets hope!

But I am going to wait for others and see what happens to them.

I have hundreds waiting to go but with this new system pfffffffttttt it is and has been a complete waste of my time.

The old one worked so much easier and was so much better.

Off Topic / Re: Even Less Photographers Jobs in future
« on: June 27, 2013, 09:23 »
Who really cares about celebrities???? Surely not I!

They chose to have a life of fame and fortune which in turn means they know and knew that the media will be following their every move and they knew it would also include their children if they didn't then when the ef did they fall off the turnip truck????

Celebrities and politicians gave up their rights when they chose what they do and if they want to be like the average Joe then all they have to do is walk away from all of their fame and fortune.

Too Bad So Sad Cry Me A River Full Of Tears.

Make between $800 and a $1,000 a month on Shutterstock; same port can't even get a monthly payout on DT.
Cause they have this silly similar image thing about your own images competing with your own images crap!!!!!!!!!!

Thats completely unrelated, as Rob says its the same port. I pity your exclamation point key. Go easy on it.
How can it be unrelated?? Care to explain?

Considering there is no way he nor anyone else can have the same port at DT because they will hit you with similars!

And I know what Rob shoots so I am sure they hit him with similars!

Just as it would be with you and all of your eye shots! They would be hit with similars!

If you were on DT then you would know this!!!!

I use Firefox and it works to the point of the waiting forever for the files to go from processing to completed!

The old way once queued you checked the box and saved all done but this way is a joke.

Figured I would give it a try again! :( :( :( :( :( :(

Filename    123RF Filename    File Type      Uploaded      Status    Action
1)   064_1.jpg      Stock Photo      Time left: 5 mins
2)   019_1.jpg      Stock Photo      Time left: 5 mins
3)   033_1.jpg      Stock Photo      Time left: 5 mins
4)   045_1.jpg      Stock Photo      Time left: 5 mins

Been spinning and working 5 minutes for well over 15-20 plus minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

This spinning is just a waste of time and my internet service which is DATA limited so it just burns up DATA doing nothing that I pay for each month and 123's easy upload process was thrown out the window for what may even be more piss poor then what they have over on BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got hundreds to upload and can't do a dam thing like this so it looks like time to wait till the cows come home and maybe then it will be fixed or maybe we are going to have to wait till hail freezes over???????????????????
