See I knew I wasn't alone Would really be nice though to do that and ignore certain boards on the main forum like for sites I don't submit to as well. But I shall just keep skipping by the ones I don't want to read.

I'm just curious if it is possible to ignore an entire thread. Thanks

I've just had some clear from the beginning of July.
The maybe there's hope for it. I'll give it to the end of October if it hasn't cleared I'll email them.

It was just a regular sale not novel so I'm not sure if was distrobution or newspaper no idea. I'll give it until next Friday (a little over 3 months) before I email them. So if that's the case there goes my payout I thought I was going to get in November. I'll be lucky if I see it before the first of the year

So when should I start emailing support about earnings not clearing? I have a sale from July 18th that hasn't cleared yet. They really need to make those pages easier to read and deal with.

I'm getting the Not found (error to origin) issue as well. If you go to http://contributor.veer.com/dashboard/Approved then you can see if you've gotten any downloads. Until the stats page is fixed then that'll have to be the work around for me to see if I get anything just won't be able to see what it was.

I don't think they're going to change that anytime soon. You can upload the large jpg images of your illustrations. I've only got one of mine up there so far just haven't had the time to upload my entire port.

I'm not having any problems opening it either. Try to open it with a different browser if that doesn't work you might need to clear your cache and browsing history and see if that helps.

How much earnings do you need for a payout?
$175 is the minimum payout amount. I probably won't see my payout until November :/

@fujiko I tried that graphicall build but everytime I'd hit F12 it'd crash
I'm planning on building my own computer one of these days.
Sorry to hear. I tried both on my laptop and rendered fine.
Are you trying to render a specific file? Have you tried to delete old preferences before running this version?
Yep I deleted every version of Blender I had plus all the blender folders aside from my files and it still crashed. Oh well. Hopefully they'll make Cycles more accessible to more cards and processors sooner rather than later.

I wish I could render in Cycles but my graphics card isn't compatible with GPU rendering. I wish it was cause I would be using it all the time. Having planes set to emission is a lot better than fumbling around with the BI lights which takes me forever to get set up to look right. Until they get OpenCL working properly or get Cycles to recognize more graphics cards I'll always be stuck using the BI.
All the stuff I've done has been with the blender internal. Cycles would take too long on my machine because I have to use CPU rendering. I really wish someone would make a proper tutorial about how to get things set up right for Cycles using the CPU option.
Mtkang you should try cycles and see how it works for you. Blender Cookie has quite a few tutorials about setting up and rendering with Cycles.

In the world settings turn on enviornment lighting. Also if you want things isolated on white it's best to not have a backdrop that your object(s) sit on. In the world setting make the horizon color pure white. I usually end up doing some post processing in PS but not a lot of it. Blender has changed a lot from version 2.49 which had a really terrible interface. Versions 2.5 and up the interface makes a lot more sense and if I can find where everything is anyone can

I use Blender. I was having the same issues with it the other week where I couldn't get a previously created object into my new file. I was trying to import the mesh which was leading to nothing.
This is where you want to go.
File > Append - locate the file you want and click on it. Go to the Object folder and click on it. It'll show you all the objects you have in your file. select it then click on the Link/Append from library button in the top right hand corner. You should then have your object imported into your scene.

But Barry SS won't let me do the Red Carpet program coz I don't have people photos so they're not going to let me into that because of it. And yeah Red Carpet events are 2 year exclusive with SS which I don't think I could justify in doing anyway.
I would just have to figure out how to get said press pass and upload it with the images.

Is it my imagination that SS is the only site that makes you jump through hoops if you don't have the credentials? I haven't tried any editorial shooting coz SS put me off on it with their requirements for the Red Carpet program.
Wonder if there's a thread on here stating the sites and their editoial requirements. I'll have to look on that later.

Barry do you get the same output on all the browsers you tried? I've yet to see that on on IE 9 or Firefox.
Yeah Kenny. I do a lot of vectors and SS is the only one that has to have them separate. It's annoying and takes twice as long to upload to them if they would just take the eps and a large raster and then generate the small preview image from either one of those it would streamline my workflow on upload day by a lot. They should really find a way to make that a reality. I'm tired of uploading there twice every week or so.

123rf - One sale a month Creestock - No sales period Cutcaster - No sales
I ditched those 3 in 2010.
Vector Stock - Too many stupid rejections and took 2 years to get to payout. Ditched them this year.
Waiting in the wings or next on the chopping block:
StockFresh. Not many sales and all they're interested in is touting portfolios with tons of people shots. I'm an illustrator I don't have many people. Definitely not getting the volume I was hoping for.

I have a Bamboo Pen and Touch tablet. I havent had much time to test it out but once or twice in Illustrator. I've also been leaning more towards doing 3d and some artists use a tablet for that but I haven't attempted it yet. It works good but a bit of a pain to get used to it. It's on the smallish side which is fine.

The ones I'd gotten there dried up. Haven't seen one since April. August has completely tanked for me mostly just sub sales very little ODs, no ELs or SODs.

Well I'm not seeing any vector sales at all. I get 1-3 a month and it's just ridiculous.

In the email I got it said that they don't yet accept vector files. I uploaded a test illustration just a jpg and not in adobe 1998 colorspace just to see if it goes through or not. I will post back once it gets reviewed.

I might start doing that with some of the stuff I have. I know they don't take vectors but wonder if they'd take rasters and 3d raster images. I'll have to put theirs in a separate folder for upload. I'm thinking that they want the Adobe 1998 rgb color profile images because I could've sworn that 123 wanted the same thing a few years ago.
I really don't want to have to change color profiles that would be a lot of work.
