I agree that Shutterstock is declining. I also agree that StockXpert is booming. I am constantly having BMEs there and this month, despite the holidays, is no exception. Keep up the good work StockXpert. If they were to introduce a nice exclusivity bonus like Istock has, that could be another possibility for the future. (And they aren't a bitch to upload to like Istock)

I only have 5 files approved here, and when I search for them there is not much competition. So I am wondering how others are doing here? I haven't gotten a download yet, but again, only 5 files. I have had another 5 pending for a month now. ;\
Anyone get any sales?

Making $1,000/month by the end of 2008.
Have at least 1,000 submissions by the end of 2008.
Hopefully that will work out. I have about 300 images now and make about $300 a month.

I signed on with them a month ago but have yet to upload.... Maybe I'll see how this thread goes in the next couple days.
I want to expand a little. I am still waiting on approval by ScanStock ( over 2 weeks now). I'm on DT, BigStock, FT, FP, SS, IS, LO, NLS, StockXpert, and 123rf.
Anyone want to reccomend anything else of value? It would be appreciated.

Crestock is the easiest site to upload to. Just upload and click the 'select all' and submit buttons. It takes no real work. Certainly worth the time to upload in my opinion. They have been outselling Bigstock for me lately.

My top seller on SS has only 100 downloads, worth $26.50. The same file has had 76 sales on StockXpert earning me $99.90. It is also my top seller on Istock, but since I have only been there a month now the stats are not comparable. I have noticed on StockXpert that when you get one off to a good start, it takes off like crazy. (The rating/comment exchange thread here has helped a few of mine take off)

IS don't accept anything but photos unless you can make them look like they were taken with a camera or pass the illustration application. They must be losing out because other sites sell lots of illustrations that istock don't have.
DT are fractal friendly but mine are not made with Apophysis, so I don't know if they like them.
Yea, you might as well not even try with Istock. I have to jump through a lot of hoops to get my illustrations accepted.

Oh, c'mon guys. I'm begging you...please give me a break about LO. It would be really nice to be able to talk about the site without folks casting a suspicious eye on me. I was just responding to Flemish Dreams' and the other comparison posts. He and I have had the exact opposite experiences with FP and LO for a long time, and I'm really interested in learning why my portfolio is doing so poorly at FP and okay at LO while others are having contrasting experiences. I'm not trying to bring FP down or promote LO...I'm simply trying to understand the differences and would like to participate in the discussion, if that's okay.
Here is why you do good at LO: 1. Your a reviewer there. 2. When people from MSG and Talkmicro give up on LO they exchange their earnings for credits and buy ur images, since you actually get payouts.
