Where can I find monthly PP earnings? I see the earnings being added up to the daily earnings, but how can I easily see my PP earnings for - let's say - february 2012?
Stats and choose month and get back to Feb

Louis, with your earnings at the top and middle tiers, do you really need that extra dollar a month?
How many agencies are you with now, 30? My goal is to even trim down on the agencies supplied, keep the best performers and lose the others.
To me it seems that those who fare best in microstock are the ones who are more exclusive to one agency (even some on SS) or only provide a few agencies like top and/or middle tiers. Yuri also spreads his work to all existing micro and macro agencies but he's way out of our league isn't he. Quality, Quantity and a crew to do most of his work, now that's worth it.
Wim
I agree but like I have said if I have time left and not producing new pictures I dont see a negative point, I might not be the best example but I have made 70$ at AYCS not saying it will continue once it havent maybe will take 1 year.. but again it was "more worth" than Crestock per example.. everybody has their work/uploadflow.. they pay 75% sometimes of 0 sales I know but I believe we should help them out..

sales are slow but worthwhile at BS: $2 sale yesterday; average is only about $10 a month but it all counts toward new equipment.
Ouch, that's just not worth it to me Warren, minimum payout (or at least $50) every month is required for me to stay with an agency, especially after 1 year. The bulk upload sounds good but then there's the BS management (categories) which would again take a huge amount of time with hundreds of images. And to think some have that bridge to SS, what a privilege.
Wim
when you are big enough I guess you can think like that, at least a payout every month but in the end it will hurt you, I dont have monthly payout from BigStock, CanStockPhoto, DP, PD, SF, GLO, PM, VEER and even DT.. so I dont see a problem to collect every two months, sure I could stick with 80% of my income but sure the other 20% make it a lot more worth..

There were plenty of sales during their hunt for contributors drive. The sales came in thick and fast, for pretty much everyone who posted on this forum announcing they started uploading there, what a coincidence. There's no better way for contributors to take notice of an agency than other contributors shouting 'SALES'. They also give high commissions, which is great, another enticer. But I can't see an agency being able to have serious growth giving that much. For long term growth they would need more and where would they get more, from those enticed maybe? Remember the order, charm/entice, get the images, cut commissions, change the rules, ignore your emails blah blah blah, ok not every agency, but certainly quite a few. And when/if the day comes those singing praises about good commissions now, will end up feeling betrayed, as usual. Those saying they had sales now will be saying where did all the sales go. I just think agencies should start as they mean to go on, we only get to find out who they are a few years down the road. I don't think there is any long term strategy with this one. Everything seems like it's just done for the here and now. But they can prove me wrong I suppose.
p.s. Luis I pretty much wrote this before you posted your comment, just clicked preview now and saw ur comment. So the part about the commissions was not because of ur comment. Just thought I'd mention it. :-)
I agree with everything you just posted but I really feel there is not much hassle to upload there, there are no clicks or other, just FTP and done, I take less than a day to send all my portfolio, again if you guys are working on new pics sure the upload can wait but when you have time I dont see how it will hurt, have a sale this month there

CoisaX, thanks a lot my friend, you have saved me a bunch of uploads.
I just noticed my images are already on panther, via 123RF. I guess there is no use in uploading twice.
total earnings are lower at PM but some nice sales in EUR time to time.. not thinking of the newest 15% taxes..

As an example, at Dreamstime, you have a $100 payout. If I take my revenue per portfolio image average of .03644 cents then divide 100 by that amount, I compute that I need 3,644 images in my portfolio to make payout on an average month.
sorry but thats the same as RPI
RPI is different. RPI is revenue per image downloaded.
I'm talking revenue per portfolio image - not all of the images in your portfolio will be downloaded on every given month. Take the total revenue and divide it by EVERY image in your portfolio.
They are two different things.
I am here stratching my head because I really think it is the same thing, why do I say this? because my RPI is the $$ I have made on a agency divided by the portfolio I have at the same.. which is exactly what you are saying no? sorry got it lol portfolio all of it, you take the average?

For me, RPI is revenue per image CREATED. If I waste my time on a bunch of images that don't sell or don't even get accepted into my ports at the major agencies, I still count those because I'm concerned about how the amount of work I do translates into real money. My bad images that don't sell or don't get accepted have to factor into that equation.
agree, like you have said a while ago

we can all have our opinion in all subjects thats a fact but actually we were used to 24h/48h reviews at SS, nothing against waiting a few more days, my point is that they could have told us about this bug before, like a few days after people start talking, files from the 4th, thats 16 days..

Hello,
Thank you for your email.
Unfortunately there was an issue transferring the images from 4/9 and earlier to our review queues, and did not make it to the actual review queue (even though your account says it did).
The only solution is to remove these images from your "Status of Submitted Photos" and resubmit them.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience.
GREAT!

Both cams are crappy, cheap new models of nothings.
what does that mean? only the 1D and D4 are worth?
Hi! no what I meant was: its a pretty poor update from Canon, I have used the MIII, for a day and frankly apart from better AF ( which I dont need), it gave me nothing, exept 1 MP, big deal?
As far as the D800? yes, more MP, even so, its not going to give me much extras on top of my D3X.
The MP, race is over, once you are around 20MP, youre in on MF quality, so thats a hypothetical question, really.
I see, basically in my case I have a D90 which I believe it is enough for stock but on the other hand I keep thinking that I should aim to the 21MP at least and also the ISO performance at a full frame sensor, D3X/D4 are way more expensive than the D800, so I believe sooner or later will get one, have already the 24-70 which was purchased thinking of that too

If they leave things as they are now, those of you who've been around a while will have a good run (at least for a while) but I think I'm going to stop uploading. There's no point as most of the newer stuff is just lost. I've only been back there since June 2011, but things had been pretty steady (not spectacular, but steady). Right now, it's really pathetic - with the occasional high price sale with those boosted images and then we're back to "subscription day" with only a trickle.
I feel you. But than again it can't be much worse than it is on mid or even low tier sites and you're contributing to some of them...
true BUT we need to see that DT is supposedly the 4th or 5th agency not a mid or low tier..
My point was that there's no point in stopping to upload at DT, if they still earn her more (even though the sales dropped) than most, if not all mid/low tiers.
I agree with you, I share the exact disappointment about DT sales as jsnover if I compare them to "top" agencies but yes it doesnt make much sense stopping the upload at DT and not in the all bunch.. unless they have been very negative in other way beside low sales
