HUGE swings of good and bad weeks. Had a very poor start to the month, but the last week has made up for it, and am now a bit over average for the month.
I find that DT is always like that. I regularly have days where I sell 5 -10 times more than the day before.

Thanks. A bit OT but do you know of a way to process files in bulk ? The only thing I have found that might help is this: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/101172
Yes, go to My Files and then choose the tab Indexing.

Would be nice if we could upload as usual to SS with the option to send it to Offset if the reviewer thought that it was suitable.

100$ is the highest. Used to be 200$ but they put it down. I used to get more at ELs at 200$ than I do now at 100$ so don't know why they bothered.

For now I would promote only symbiostock project , because we pay all others for promotion already, don't they always say that's one reason why their part of the sale has to be so high? Or not?
I think that is the most sensible answer once we all have our ports there.

Also, votes are to widely spread, so u can not expect that after the winner is claimed those majority starts follow minority of winning-losing side.
I agree. If SS were being promoted there is no way that I would ever send clients there. I really like the company but I would be shooting myself in the foot if I sent buyers there.

People vote for SS because it earns the most money for them, they have a low cost model but have the volumes to generate relatively decent returns and they are by far the most professionally run site. If we make the assumption that folks are doing this for the money rather than getting a nice warm fuzzy feeling, you pick your sites based on results. Mickey mouse "fair" sites are all very well and good but how many people would delete their IS ports to put them on say GL?
It isn't about deleting ports it's about sending buyers from the sites that pay low commissions to those that pay high commissions.

Original post deleted. Sorry by the minus I obviously offended somebody with what was meant as a joke. I sometimes forget that this isn't facebook and it isn't my friends and family who know my sense of humour.

Yeah, I guess it is a bit of a catch22 as they will want to grow to support more contributors, but will need promotion to do so...For all we know maybe they have start up funds to market...or maybe they are relying on the current contributors or both. They sound great from a contributor perspective, but they need something to appeal to buyers...their pricing is a good start
I really want it to work and hope that I am accepted but at the moment it would seem a bit premature to send clients to a site that I don't contribute to.

I know it is new, but maybe Stocksy should be up there. Since it is new, they could use our help...and if it takes off, it only means good things for us if we choose to participate. They have good pricing and offer the best returns for contributors. Hell it's what they say they stand for.
I agree to a certain extent but I don't think that you are going to find many people promoting them until they find out if they are in or not.

Not sure why so many people have voted for SS. There are other places I'd much rather send buyers to where my RPD is much more than at SS. The fact that so many people make more money there than anywere else means that they are taking customers away from places that pay us more per download. DT give me an RPD of 2 or 3 times more than SS for instance.
Happy for you but for example, DT doesn't sell at all for me. For every 50 sales on SS I have 1-2 sales on DT...so tell me, why would I vote for it? Also, the discussion was about the most contributor friendly agency, and DT is on the top of my black list. Their stupid rejections drive me crazy...
I thought that the point of the poll was to promote sites that we want to sell at not where we already sell. It makes sense to me to sell at the place that gives the biggest RPD. An average dl for me at SS brings me less than 80c at DT the average for the last year is 2.61$. I know where I'd rather send customers.

In my experience, iStock is the only agency that requires you to upload a new release for each shoot. All the others I've dealt with are comfortable with having one release on file per model. Be aware that you should have a release for each shoot to protect yourself legally, whether or not the agency requires it.
And Veer want a new one every session.

I've got mine set between 30$ and 60$. I'm not interested in adding another site that sells a few images a month for a couple of dollars each. If I don't sell anything then I'll rethink but I've had the same images sell on Alamy for over 400$.

Normal for me this month until today when sales have slowed right down.

LOL so did I when I eventually found it.!! Makes me feel better that I wasn't the only one. Just shows you how important bold lettering is to get people's attention. We couldn't see the light letters even when looking.

We should have a poll.
How many were rejected and how many were accepted. how many apply and how many didn't.
I think you will find that a large percentage of people haven't heard back yet.
I think a large number of people will be sitting on their hands waiting to see how things develop. Actually having the site live now is a good start.
The images of mine that I think may match the required style are often some of my best-sellers elsewhere. I'd be hesitant to take them off sites where they've attained good sort-order position to make them exclusive at a new agency with unknown traffic and sales.
I'm also concerned how Istock may choose to interpret membership of a competing 'co-op' agency with regards to compliance to their membership agreement. They've already kicked out Sean, Rob and Stalman. It's possible that they may single out others yet.
Then there's SS Offset too. It'll almost certainly be a very well funded operation and, at the very least, won't make Stocky's task any easier. There are too many variables and unknown factors for me as yet.
I agree. I like the idea of both sites but would be hesitant to delete best sellers from other sites and upload to the new sites until we see how it goes. If it really takes off then I would be happy to do special sessions for these sites. (assuming I get accepted of course)

The trouble is that if I remove my port from anywhere it won't make the slightest difference to anybody except for me as I will lose out on my earnings there. I'm 100% sure that no buyer is going to follow me around looking for my images is they are no longer at one particular site. Unfortunately that is the truth of the matter.
Ok. Fair enought. How about....I think my body of work is worth more than 123RF is willing to pay me.
Yep that will do

Hi Cobalt,
I find alamy is one of the best submit interface.. there is a batch submit features..just 'manage images' and highlight the thumbnail in same series, 'shift' or 'control' to select mulitple images..and pull to the tab under..
you can then edit them in batch.. I used adobe bridge for my keywords and it import as the third keyword tab..so I usually move them to the 'main keywords' and 'second keywords' tab.
OMG thank you so much. I had no idea that you could batch assign the attributes. That will save me so much work.

I can understand why some people are frustrated, but why delete your portfolio? Stop uploading if you don't think it's worth your time, but deleting approved images seems silly. Simple. 123RF takes away sales from other agencies that pay-out a lot faster.

I had problems finding it although it's quite obvious once you spot it. Go to the uploads page and there is a line in pale grey script. the third one being Releases. I upload using the HTML5 tab.
My Uploads Apply CSV Release Templates

The possibility of high commision sales is the only thing that keeps me uploading here. I stopped bothering with panthermedia and a couple of others because it just wasn't worth the effort involved.
