Easy implementation. Sometimes featured images can be a little invasive popping up where you don't want them. Please tell me where you want featured images to show up (in all practicality) and I'll work it in right away.
Very true. Another wordpress theme that I use has a little tick box in the post edit screen, something like "display featured image in post?" in case you don't want it showing up IN the post, but want it as a preview FOR the post. That might be a solution. I'll send you a screen shot of where I reckon they would suit.

When you write up a post (not an image, an actual blog post - http://thpstockphotos.com/500-royalty-free-stock-photos-online/ ) there is an option in the Post Editing screen for a Featured Image. but this doesn't seem to show up anywhere when chosen? Any ideas? Leo, is this something you can easily make display, in the blog page overview, and in the post itself? If so, perhaps will need an option not to have full sized image displayed if someone chooses a stock image for example it will show up huge. A nice little 150px or so thumb would be great. Please let me know if I am missing something!

Hi Pixmac reps, can you guys please pop in here and give us an update on the Pond5 merger? It's coming up to nearly a month past the initial deadline you had set, and I am wondering when we can expect the actual changes to take place?
It's nice to see a handfull of sales coming from Pixmac lately, but sad to see they aren't reflecting the 50% that they should have by now.
Could you give us an update please? Thanks a lot.

When I delete an image from my Symbio site, it says moved to trash, with the option of undo (haven't tried it).
Simple question - are the deleted images actually in a trash location, or are they permanently deleted? Just wondering if they are taking up space somewhere, but I figure its most likely the later.

I'll admit, I haven't read this whole post so I've probably missed a lot, but if comments are included, perhaps it can be visible, and commentable, only to registered users? Would Google SEO still like it then?
Would spammers bother to register to annoy and troll? Some will, but most wouldn't. And making them invisible in the first place, until you are registered, would not even alert anyone to the presence of comments with the intent to spam.
Just a thought.
Either way we get to decide to turn them on or off, so at least we all get what we want.

It should show up. But there's always the possibility it doesn't in some places...plupload is pretty complicated
It worked fine in the earlier versions. Not sure what version it stopped for me as I have used FTP only for ages now. Not a huge issue, just odd.

Is the image uploader visible for everyone? I have been using FTP so haven't looked there for a while, but in 2 browsers it doesnt' show up. I have latest browsers and flash installed too.

As people start to network up with each other, I have one little fear that I thought I would get others opinions on.
The beauty of selling direct is we set our own prices. The fear of selling direct is that we set our own prices...
Eg: buyer comes to my site, sees a nice isolated apple, thinks 'yep, $20 for large size, thats what I'd pay at iStock, if not more' adds it to cart. Then he notices one of my network partners also has a nice isolated apple. Checks that one out, virtually same image, but it only costs $5 for the large, $1 for small.
Why on earth will he buy my one?
I guess what Im saying is I think we need to look out for eachother, not just ourselves when we choose our pricing, so that we don't go too low. Or there will be a lot of networked partners dropped and hurt feelings etc etc. I know I will be highly reluctant to add a network partner if I see their pricing is way too low.
What do you all think?

Thought it's worth mentioning again, since my URL changed a while back. If anyone has a slot to fill and wants to link to my site (which you're welcome to of course!) the address is: http://thpstockphotos.com300 files online and steadily adding more now that my site design is basically done.

Maybe not a bug, but what for is "profile" link under image? It leeds now to the same image page...
Modify in your User Area - you know, where you set up your user wordpress info.
I know, but... I'd like to remove this link
we shouldn't remove the link.. you can just make it point to your about page and it will look nicer..
that link is very important imo..
Yep, link needs to stay.

I didn't get that email?
Why on earth are agencies (FT, GR) pricing vectors cheaper than most jpegs?!

Hello Leo,
Great job on the last update, thanks:) After installation I did a normal search and just below the image search results of each of my network I got the following message, maybe a bug??
Warning: stripos() [function.stripos]: needle is not a string or an integer in /home2/aseanpho/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 658
Warning: stripos() [function.stripos]: needle is not a string or an integer in /home2/aseanpho/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 661
Warning: stripos() [function.stripos]: needle is not a string or an integer in /home2/aseanpho/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 658
theruchos strikes again! Thats a "theruchos" modification on "theruchos" site because...well...their really good at modifications
BTW - I am not networked with theruchos, but still get this error.

After the latest theme I am now getting this bug on any network search
Warning: stripos() [function.stripos]: needle is not a string or an integer in /home2/thpstock/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 658
Warning: stripos() [function.stripos]: needle is not a string or an integer in /home2/thpstock/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 661
it repeats about 8 times. Doesn't matter who I have in as a network partner.

You mean what I said to cclapper? The errors were caused by the .JPG extension yes, but the problem was removing the errors from the process images log, they just kept showing up.
Can't wait to see this button. Even if it is blue...

Hey Leo, my issue earlier did turn out to be related to file extensions so scratch that! One thing to note though, my error images that were uppercase extensions aren't being deleted even though I've moved them to the trash, so they keep popping up in processing. Ghost images!
Today I destroy uppercase lowercase problem once and for all! I also got microstock man's "gimme a button" request taken care of.
I think I am one of those OCD ones you mentioned earlier.... But still, thanks for the button cclapper - I had that problem a few themes ago, was deleting them individually but no luck. Then this worked...Process your images, you'll be left with a list of those errors. Use the Select all tick box to select all errors, then in the Bulk edit drop down, do Move to Trash and apply. This worked for me, whereas individually deleting them didn't. Don't know why.

Agreed! Better to frustrate the thieves with watermarks than frustrate designers with no comp images imo.
agree.

I AM living in the twightlight zone. Unlike posts there does not seem to be a mass-edit available for comments. Thats not consistent in wordpress world!
I'll fix that tomorrow to just turn them off with a single click.
Ah I see, I was getting the initial "process" after uploading confused with "publish" to go live. Sorry, my bad. I've just FTP'd some new ones up, so now I will try that bulk category change in drafts again.

Go to Licenses & Images is what it is now. I never even knew you had mentioned that spot - I thought we were referring to customer area. Anyway, its ready for next update.
Sweet, thanks Leo. Sorry to say one little thing isn't working in the update. If you batch edit some draft images, that is tick multiple images and do a bulk edit for categories etc, then the Comments appear on those images, even if you have them turned off with the new option in the admin section.

Just another thing to still add to the list Leo, on the image details page, such as here http://thpstockphotos.com/image/peeling-paint-background/can we get that button we talked about last week, instead of the text " Customer / Licensing Area (0.00)"? This is the part of the buyers process that is the most unobvious at this point. A nice big button, like the one you put for "Pay Now", needs to be there instead, for "View Cart" or "Review Selected Images" or "Go to Licenses & Images" or something, anything, to make it more obvious for the buyer. BTW - this latest build seems very stable, and has fixed a lot of bugs. Nice work!
