One thing I would suggest to some here is that since it is a "by invitation only" I would not throw out the email to become an artist to be available to those who have not been invited!

Might not be a good thing to do and could come back to bite you. :(
They even post it on Twitter !! So I dont think its a big secret
OK then maybe you could share your knowledge oh wise one as to why some people that requested an invitation were denied an invitation????
LOL, it took you 4 hours to come up with that? So Jake on SS just told you he is done arguing with you and now you come here to argue with me? I am also done arguing with you. Go find someone else to annoy with your endless fallacies. You are the master of argument from inertia.
Only because it took someone until then to post about being denied the invitation!

Hey someone else other then I can see what is In Jake's image!

Some of us dont do twitter and tweeting like all the little dweebs do!
So basically because you dont Twitter and have no clue whats going on there, you warn somebody that he could get in trouble, over something completely made up because you have no clue whats going on around you and then when someone points it out you change the subject and revert to calling everybody that use Twitter dweebs, which in fact is also Offset. LOL.
Movie, sports stars and businesses are not the dweebs so your lost on that!

The big companies, movie stars, sports figures and all post on there to see how many dweebs are following them so they know how to market and direct their products and to what audience!

So you evidently have no idea who a dweeb is I see!

Dweebs are the faithful following fools whose life revolves around what the  movie, sports athlete or business is doing because they have no real life only a life of fantasy that they wish they had!

Usually known as teen dweebs.

It all depends it seems. My last review a few days back was 48 hours. Some 23 shots and 22 accepted. Thats quick indeed. :)
48hrs is unusual!

You must be special.

I dont know who has been blowing smoke up DT's you know what but giving images for free wont help any at all!

All it will do is get all of the leaches looking for free stuff to their site.

If they want more paying customers they need to get rid of the BS similar rejections they have so that the buyers can have more choices!

Stop worrying about changes in search algorithms, it's non-productive. All these search and Best Match discussions are a waste of time. Microstock isn't about short term, it's all about the long term. Just keep uploading stuff, and look back after a year or so to see what has sold and what hasn't.

« on: May 07, 2013, 07:01 »
How does it mess up sales?  Doesn't seem to make a difference to mine.
What if a buyer only wants something from someone shooting Nikon or Canon well with that info missing now they dont know what they are shooting with or he is looking for a landscape photographer well now that info is missing, that was the purpose behind it so buyers could find photogs or illustrators that matched their needs and now it is back to a guessing game because the info is missing.

Bringing this over here since the Moderators dont respond on their own forum maybe they will see this and respond and get it fixed because it is messing up sales for both us and SS!

qwerty

It gets harder and harder doesn't it? My understanding, based upon the answers I get from the admins, is that you don't need the email or credentials for a NON-TICKETED event held on public property. They gave me a little blurb to include for the reviewer so he/she wouldn't make a mistake. Sheesh!

Would you be able to share "the mistake preventing blurb"
If it is the same as my blurbs are they are all different, I have a case number to give the reviewer for whatever event I shoot.

Just write to SS ahead of time and get the answer back with a case number so you dont run into any problems.

Do you mean email    [email protected]
I sent mine to both to be safe.

I got my first enhanced download today for $28. I wonder if its part of what was going on today. I am sort of unfamiliar w SS license's. does it mean they can resell my art or just print it out as part of a graphic on a book or something like that.
