"We are currently working on securing a partnership for both our RevoStock producers and customers with one of the many other quality media marketplaces that will honor your current relationship with RevoStock in the best way possible..."

Contributors late payments should get into that deal of taking over RevoStock.
Who is going to buy them?

No one will buy them.

It's smart that they have an opt out.  Hopefully 500px will choose their partners carefully.  Other agencies have partners will crazy prices, no photographer credits, tiny watermarks, questionable terms and conditions... and no opt outs.  Careful choice of partners matters.

Tim, please make social media sharing optional.
I have no interest in seeing my photos shared freely on Facebook, Twitter, G+ etc.

I am not a facebook, flicker, istagram or twitter user.  I also prefer to keep my life and art off social media...

Odd that there's no keyword search window.

I am just wondering: where are you Lee?

must be under the cone of silence...

iStockPhoto.com / Re: New One month subscription plan

This pseudo-sub plan sucks.  I stopped uploading videos to istock after the price cut.  This is removing any motivation to upload stills.

Print on Demand Forum / Re: Best sites for selling Prints
« on: October 06, 2015, 21:29 »
I found some of my photos sold as prints on Amazon. I wonder if that is even legal.

Anyway, you can probably do the same, with your own photos, yourself.

hmmm... just saw one of my photos on Amazon too.  From a company called EuroGraphics...

Perhaps buyers want more choice.  Perhaps buyers want the simulars they have been rejecting.

Veer / Re: i have Zero sales ...why?
« on: September 23, 2015, 21:06 »
hello .
till now i dont have any bit of sales on veer ? is it worth to spend time on it ?

I dropped out of Veer some time back. It wasn't worth a moment more of my time, and I didn't like their sleazy "partners" having their clutches on my images.

Veer's partner program is very worrying.  They need an opt out.

It's sad when businesses fail.  I don't believe they will recover.  At this point even pondering Revostock is a waste of productivity.  Time to move on.

Currently we're looking to recoup overdue earnings, yet we're still having sales on the site (which means nothing if they're not being paid) so, it's a tricky one to assess. Do you delete your portfolio, having spent so much time uploading, and in the knowledge that Revostock still has a good online presence for buyers?

It's illogical to leave your art at a agency that clearly lacks the ability to pay their contributors.

Another payout date was missed.  I deleted my clips.  One file remains to keep the account debt on the books.

I hope Craig and his staff find success.  I'll consider reintroducing my art when their company returns to financial health and their debts are paid.

sorry ppdd but,
if i can get it on google without watermarks, then its for me legal.
google images and their search function is the same like on 'your agencies'.
main problem is that these agencies and photographers mislead customers on purpose.
For example in my country many people dont understand proper english, but on these sites
you have royalty free images (that leads to misunderstandings) or like in my case they invent licenses with absurd fees.
theres a big problem in this stock business

You may have found the image on google but you do not have a valid use license.  Use of unlicensed images makes you nothing more than a thief.

I'm determined to make CS6 work as long as possible.  I'm allergic to monthly bills.

DepositPhotos / Re: Changes in royalties
« on: August 26, 2015, 11:57 »
They already pay the lowest return per download of 12 agencies I upload to.  They should raise prices not cut royalties.  Royalty cuts suck.

Thumbs up to 500px for jumping in with proactive contributor support.  Makes me want to join.  But please fix the watermarks!  Maybe add a move to center watermark option for contributors who worry about such things.

I would like Adobe to offer a contributor opt out for Fotolia's long secretive list of third party partner sites.

Close DPC ASAP.  It was a bad idea to start with.  Bad for us.  Bad for their profits too.

FYI:  Just found one of my best sellers in someone else's EyeEm port.  I wrote support to have it removed.  You all may want to check for your images.

Update:  EyeEm support replied quickly and fixed the problem.  Like that in a agency.

And eyeem is pricing all rf at 20 dollars.

Also isn't eyeem a cell phone photo only site?

Dissolve's broad TOS may give them the ability to hold contributors against their will but doing so will only lead to festering discontent and anger.  I don't see any upside to that strategy.  Surely they have plenty of material without resorting to questionable business tactics.  Letting unhappy contributors leave is a good business decision.

499
After they clawed back some of my May Royalties in June due to some corporate deal gone awry, leaving me owing them money (yeah right), they jumped to the bottom of my list. Now this bizarre move - I don't expect them to rise to the top, for sure. They seem to be in that phase where they feel contributors are expendable.  That's so 2009...

Very istock-ish.

istock and bugs in the same sentence... humm

Seriously, plummeting sales is primarily due to the online libraries 40% yearly size growth.  It takes a ton of productivity to keep pace with the intense worldwide competition were witnessing.
