You will have to take it in. If you are getting some power then high changes its the motherboard. That is what happened to my computer last month. You would hear the fan turn on and then nothing. If you click the button and nothing happens it could still be the motherboard or more likely the power pack. Either of those will need to be replaced by the store. Good thing is its does not sound like you hard drive, if it was that then you would get to the windows stage before the crash.

Congrats borg!
I don't know if I have any sales yet. Too hard to tell. Have a couple hundred photos approved so far.
I love Veer's upload process. Really, really easy and fast. Especially since the limits have been raised.
So far I have my worst acceptance rate there of any site. They seem to be very hard on similars. They are very strict on keywords, so some of my earlier work has required rekeywording for them (not complaining - tight keywords are a good idea). The other thing I noticed is they will reject images showing older technology - cellphones, computers, etc.
I just got 61 images rejected, heavy on the similar or not quiet the fit for veer comment

Isn't there some sort of link between 123 and Inmagine? Would that be where the $45 commission came from?
Yes, 123 is owned by Inmagine. I have never seen a $45 sale there though. I don't believe 123 pics show on Inmagine's site, but maybe there is something new?
Your 123RF images do show up on Inmagine. Typically they are in the value section which is a new feature. Several of my images are there and they start at $10 and up.

First off, never submit more then five images of the same thing. If you want to you need to space them out, almost every company will start to reject based on that.
Other things that stood out right away is every picture only shows one item really focused. You should expand your depth of field to show both hearing aids as crisp images.
Finally, you white background is not even at all. Most reviews like to see a solid background as its distracting for an isolation image.
Overall I think its a good subject, just needs some tweaking.

I had to seen in a total of three batches before I got in the door. Out of the 31 images they have so far selected, I was shocked to see which ones they liked and didn't like. Travel buildings, beaches, etc have not been accepted very often out of my images.
I've noticed that their selection of travel photos is very poor. I sell a lot of travel photos. Oh well, maybe I should just upload some run-of-the-mill studio shots, and see what they say...
Well once you get in the door...I would still upload them. You just might now want all your original 10 images travel looking. I also find the site difficult...I have bookmarked it like suggest sense its a maze to get to your portfolio.

I would also contact Yahoo directly sense they own the Flickr

When I was doing my review I got a bunch of images that had that comment. I emailed support asking what does this mean sense it gives you no direction for another set of 10. They took only a few hours to get back, but the guy told me that the review most likely did not think the image was right for the site. That was his only guess. I have not seen that comment yet sense I got in the door.

The same thing will happen as it does with the airlines. Everyone raises their prices and then all it takes is one to say...I am dropping to get the edge. Next thing you know...everyone is back at the same old pricing.

They are not a feed the beast type site...sale just randomly roll in. Like I have said in other threads...123RF has consistent sales for me. You wont be seeing monthly payouts though, unless you have a lot of images.

Typical for me, Dreamstime took the lead with 123RF and ShutterStock close behind. This chart includes sales only, no referral sales are shown.

I think it just depends on the review. I normally submit in batches of 5 to 10 and sometime all of them will go through...or all of them will be rejected for "not what we need" I forget the exact wording. The other day I submitted 4 building images and a paper heart...the paper heart was the only one that they took.

Cushy stock is a great program for organization and key wording. I suggest getting the earlier one and not the new version that just came out.
For me I keep them on a media drive: I have a folder with Complete images broken down to several categories...landscape, architecture, animals, details, textures, etc. From their I number each image in order...landscape 01, 02, etc.
All the images that have not been processed I keep in a unfinished folder All images I am working on are in a pending folder. After all the pending images have been uploaded to each site I move them into the complete folder per file.
That's my process.

I would put the protection as noted and also you should be fine when you are using your clients images. They are responsible for their site even if you are designing it. I think you are only responsible for the images you provide.

Tom, I think this Vegas coyright thing has being going on for a while, I remember some years back when the Wynn hotel first open, I stayed there for a few days and took some wonderful photos of the place, well I'm glad I got into a conversation with a local that informed me that everything was under copyright from the Parasol room inside to the exterior of the building, as well as any other Hotel/Casino on the strip...well little to say that was a big disappointment and a wasted effort...must of the photos had to be uploaded as editorial...so careful with those photos of yours, you just might get that knock on the door. BTW, if the person knocking is a big ugly guy wearing a black leather jacket and his name is Vinny, RUUUUN!
HA! , thanks M@M, that dates it for me. The Wynn was nothing but girders when I was last in Vegas. I think you are correct, I'll be getting online and changing all my Vegas stuff to editorial. At least then, I may have opportunity to continue to sell them......... UNLIKE at IS where they all got 86'd. =tom
Now that I think of it... why couldn't IS ask me if I'd like to put them on in editorial??? WTH? They were selling, why dump pix that were proven sellers?
Yea, everything I shoot in Vegas is under Editorial. I have been stopped many times by hotel staff asking why am I shooting and for what reason. I always tell them I am an architect and like the details of the building and they go away.
