General Stock Discussion / Re: your opinion about my profile« on: May 17, 2016, 03:37 »Not a smart move coming on here!I thought the same. The height of stupidity. Stealing something and then coming and parading it around in front of possibly one of the people you stole off !! Doesn't make any sense at all. 53
General Stock Discussion / Re: Alamy second to Shutterstock in the Poll?...Explain that...« on: May 14, 2016, 02:26 »
I just hit a new low with Alamy. Sale price 2.23$ of which I get to keep 30% !!!

BigStock is a solid middle tier for me and if my images weren't bridged over I would still upload there.

CanStockPhoto.com / Re: no salses at canstockphoto« on: May 10, 2016, 03:28 »
I get a pay out every month. It doesn't seem to have the dramas that most sites have from time to time and is easy to upload to.

Shutterstock.com / Re: Delete old crappy images? What do you think?« on: May 09, 2016, 07:06 »What I meant was that how you sell at SS compared with DT is nothing to do with how DT order their search. I do really well in the searches at DT with a huge part of my port coming up at the top of the first search pages but still don't sell a lot there compared to Fot or SS.The fact that you earn more at SS is irrelevant.I've wondered about this often. 59

Shutterstock.com / Re: Still Haven't Subtracted April Total« on: May 03, 2016, 02:34 »
There is another post going saying that the paypal addresses have been deleted from the account settings. I went and added mine back in yesterday and my total has gone down so it looks like I've been paid. Check and see if yours is still there. I guess if there is no address it won't have been sent.

Now when I look at my overall earnings I have quite a big chunk of money missing. 66

General Stock Discussion / Re: Help with payments from Paypal« on: April 29, 2016, 08:52 »
I've been getting regular payments from stock sites since 2005 and only ever once had a problem which was sorted and was something that I had done wrong by mistake. I managed to get through on the phone to sort it out so be persistent.

Alamy.com / Re: Have Alamy gone bonkers?« on: April 29, 2016, 05:12 »
I had a 250$ one refunded last month a few hours after they bought it. Later that day it sold for 90$. Nothing refunded this month though

Shutterstock.com / Re: Disappearing sales« on: April 25, 2016, 08:08 »I guess theirs servers are not syncronized and some are more uptodate them the others.Yes this has happened a lot in the past but it all goes right after a little while 74
Newbie Discussion / Re: Are the Low Earners worth uploading to?« on: April 24, 2016, 04:26 »Exactly the same experience as you. Monthly pay outs from the ones you mentioned and very little from the others. I still upload to some of the others though. GL because it's so easy as no need to link MRs, Pond 5 as I can set my own prices but if they reject a perfectly good batch again then I will stop uploading, and Stockfresh because I think Peter is a good guy. 75
Alamy.com / Re: Alamy- Any success??« on: April 24, 2016, 04:20 »I guess so but by the time they take their cut from the 62$ I won't have made much more than you.Congrats on the 2k sale! Was that RM?If you mean Dumc it was 200$ not 20000$ |
