...Yet, when I was browsing Istock last night they have some good selling library photos where the book titles are definitely clear. (I was quite surprised to see, because Istock rejected some with a map on the wall in the background! And rightly so, I guess.)
... and are those photos from IS exclusive contributors? :-P

Maybe interesting... Just a comment BigStock sent to me with a paypal payout:
"In case you were wondering about BigStock last week, we lost two critical Servers two days apart and we managed to keep most things online although we had to publish a DNS change for one server. Well if it really did say 1.6 million pictures Oz, that would be a HUGE step in the right direction. HUGE.
And if they have cut the database, that should clean up the searches no end and give the rest of us a better chance for sales.

I'm going to follow a suggestion read in this forum: use an istockphoto's release deleting any reference to istockphoto before submitting it to other sites. But the istockphoto's MR seems to be the more restrictive: they want also a witness...

Consider this... I go exclusive to Istockphoto, then I submit only those images they reject to other sites non-exclusively. Can I do this? What do you think about?
No can do. You agree to supply exclusive to iStock for RF purposes. Can can supply elsewhere but only for RM.
This is valid also with those images that Istockphoto have rejected?
