.. sigh...
Hello leaf,
We discovered that there were some irregularities with September 2013 and October 2013 Partner Program royalties payments. There were a number of contributor accounts that were overpaid royalties over these two months. Unfortunately your account was one of the affected accounts.
We have calculated the over payment amount to be $416.10. Rather than take this amount out of your royalty balance in one adjustment we have decided to schedule the removal of these funds over a 6 month period. Starting before the end of February 2014 we will begin removing $69.35. Once per month for the next six months we will recoup the balance of the over payment. You will receive a monthly notification as immediately after the funds are removed.
Over Payment Total=$416.10
Monthly Recoup Amount=$69.35
If you have any questions please contact us via our Contributor Relations Contact Ticket feature.
Regards, iStockphoto LP almost the same as you ... how do we audit this guys

It is a very intersting video to see ... but to me it is only an advertise to PROFOTO. Yuri is sponsored by Profoto or want to be, and the same with the Hasselblad.
Now he is making money with his brand.

MB2B the outstanding in your numbers is the stability of your income trough the two years, this must be from the quality of your work, ... I don't want to warm you but ... the agencies change their best match times to times ... And when that happen you will see if your portfolio is truly bullet prove.
And yes, you must have consistent upload ... I think all best match have this in their algoritm.

In my PP sales from September I received $0,46 p/dl ... not bad for a subscription site.

We might make the odd $0.0001 I still can't believe the lack of discussion about the Connect program here. It was a big reason why I removed all my best images from istock. I don't really want to get involved in an experiment where it looks like I would get less than 20% of very little.
The Connect deals have the problem that we never really know the deal details. This deal apears to be for using in advertising and only for editorial images, should be a good deal for selling editorial pictures ... but comming from Getty we never know.

As I said before is easy to do well if you earn less than, lets say, $1000/month ... more than that I guess it is rare the contributor that are doing well.
But if is someone out there, keep your secret ;-)
is that a joke? nobody doing over 1k $ is doing well? that is the dumbest statement I have ever heard, I understand what you mean but you haven't said it properly
Luis,
Maybe you are not trying to understand my sentence properly ... but I can explain to you.
Always have been easy to grow when the photographer is starting and the income is low, and it's hard to keep making more and more money when you already earn a lot. Now I believe that almost all photographers that earn, lets say, more than $1000 are earning less than the year before (or even the month before). Of course I am not sure, but it's what I think is happen.
Why do you think Yuri are trying the exclusive thing at istock? ;-)
that is not correct, if you check the monthly earnings topic here at MSG you will see that many are still growing and are certainly doing more than 1k $, you can add me on that statistic as well, your logic may be right for a big chunk of contributors but not for everybody
regarding Yuri I rather not talk about him because I am just tired of it, it won't take us anywhere
Believe what you want ... you will get there some day.
I believe in my own numbers, may I?
guess you are missing something, I haven't said I don't understand your logic but 1k $ is relatively low, I believe you should say 3-5k
You are too picky! $1000, $1500, $2000 ... I think is not hard to understand what I mean. But, as you said you have your own numbers, and you are growing. Lucky you.

I'm earning much less than $1000pm and I'm still in a falling sales and $$ scenario. It's not suprising at iS, where uploading makes little or no difference nowadays; but I hadn't guessed that things would be as bad elsewhere.
Yep, and many that earn less than $1000pm also. There is a world crise lots of small business closing, and over supply ... soon or later most of us will lost the starting motivation in microstock and have to find other ways to make money with photography.

Same with me.
I think there are lots of phenomenons ... market, competition, and many others ... but I wonder if others like me are slowing the production even more (for micro) and trying other ways to sell at better prices.
I am doing less and less images with microstock in mind, because I believe that all images may sell but they do not sell in volume as they do in the past.
I really prefer to be represented with an agencie that sell fewer times at better prices, and microstock are not in this business model.

Most of the contributors will grow theire income until some amount, then they will stable, and after that they will decrease theire income. I believe that most of the contributors who have earn more than $2000 month are now (at least since the beginning of 2013) seeing a fast drop in all big agencies. But, of course it all depends of quantity/quality of your work.
My income have drop since a year ago, and still dropping ... and I will stop producing for microstock if I stop having profit there for my new photos.
I agree with the point you are making, with the exception that I don't think it ALL depends on the quality and quantity of your work. That is only one factor among many that is impacting contributors.
Yes, I agree.

This perspective it is bad for each contributor. No one will spend hours and hours of their time and gain few bucks.
its very bad indeed and I think we should spread the word just like you are doing
but in fact I haven't been producing that much (comparing to factories/other) and my earnings are pretty stable so 200k new files / week doesn't seem to do any damage (at least for now), apart from that you are also forgetting "newbies", that said there will be always supply because for some it will be always a "nice" hobby that can make a few quid

To me looks like the main reason that she wants her image remove, is her new contract with the model agencie, and the devaluation of her image. If she have her image at her FB you can process her for distributing your image without your consent

I have contacted Contributor Help from Getty, and after some mails e many days they concluded that the imagens have migrated from Stockxpert.
It's a bug that in my case they have solved ... but even after they assure me all sales have been credit through Stockxpert account ... i think i will never know if that is the true.

Anyone non-exclusive noticed that some of their files are being migrated to the E+ colection at Getty?
I have some, very few and very old ones.

Great idea!!!
If you can built it with an integrated search engine, so the client can search in all the portfolios of all contributors ... Maybe we have a way to keep 100% and maybe our commission at agencies will rise, when they start to loose clients.
I am willing to help as a photographer (sorry, don't know PHP).

I am not against this Connect API thing ... Maybe it was good to us if this Connect API thing have been apply to the Getty/Google deal.
Maybe this is nanostock, but what do you call to the Getty/Google deal?
Nanostock maybe can be profit to us. Most of us accepted microstock with the hope to sell thousands of images, so, nanostock to sell million of images can be interesting.
The problem here is ... GETTY ... Lately all that come from this guys is dangerous, and the Connect API thing, seems to be a way to make secret deals, different for different clients, where we never know the license and the commission.
We will be kept on the dark with this Connect API thing never knowing if our work are paid fairly.
