Hi everyone,
The feature is built with super-fancy artificial intelligence technology that automatically scans your media and generates relevant keywordssaving you a ton of time and helping you make more money.
The problem I discovered is that I have to select the image type of each photo by hand....bulk editting doesn't work.....

It's been a little than a month since Fotolia launched it's restyled site. While getting used to the new categories I noticed that my sales dropped! I used to have a couple of bigger, extended licence sales each month but all I got were subscriptions and a few 6 credit sales. Is it just coincidence or is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Yes.... Had a pay out last year, in Euro's and had to pay a fee. Complained and received an answer that it was not their mistake, I should complain at PayPal....

Disc full, files disappeared and earnings with zero sales value and zero quantity... I have seen them all. Wouldn't it be nice if someone from 123rf shows up here and gives us some kind of explanation what's going on there? I've had problems checking my earnings for weeks and when I complained the only "advice" I got was to refresh my cash memory...or try a different browser. Yeah right!

My portfolio size is down by over 1000 images. What is going on?
1000 only? Lucky you! I miss over 4000 files!

After a year of not uploading there I suddenly had one sale, the first in over a year. Thought to give them another chance but most of my files were rejected: the ones that were accepted elsewere and had many sales. I guess they have no idea what they are doing there?

Just noticed some PP sales on the first of July! What about the subscription sales? Do they come in as well?

10% increase. The "new" subscription started yesterday for me. But i see only 1 day in stats"4th".
That's how it's always been. However, if you go to My Uploads, then click Image Subscriptions (NOT 'credit subscriptions') you'll be able to see what files sold when. (You may have to click on Last Sub dl twice or three times to see June's sales.)
I checked the subscribtions and in may and june there were some sales, however: Where is the money? I'm happy I'm not their accountant:)

I only see a small grey line in the April bar that says Subscribtion, for may and june I haven't seen any but there comes more money in my account every time I check.

Yep.... sales going down here too! The last two weeks I had problems to log in on the site and I'm probabely not the only one, sellers won't get in either!
The last year 123RF promissed us increasing sales, better % earnings etc but nothing happened. In fact, they killed one of their easiest to use marketing tools: the free image section. Before, it was possible to give them away for a day or more and you could easily select them from all files you donated before. In their new system, the shortest period is 10 days and selection is harder, not to mention it is much more work to add new images to your "free selection section". I wrote them several times about this issue but still no proper answer and no change of system ofcourse. What do they expect? Expect a huge increase in your portfolio exposure! Increase your sales!! Sell higher resolution images! Since the introduction of the new free image system I haven't sold more hr images and it takes soooo much time to get them donated for free.
Let's hope someone from 123RF reads our issues and complaints and will do something. Afterall, it's US who generate their profit!

Nett is the spelling in "Queens English" They did change the % for subscriptions: I'm a level 4 and used to get .324. I just noticed a couple of subscriptions that made me a whooping .417!!

They have a new strategy: first they calculate the recoupments, then they trow a dice to see if we have any pp sales this month.

This morning, I also found more $$ in my acount. I checked th bars and also found more PP earnings in december and january. The october bar still shows that extreme amount, but they send me a message that it was too high and money was taken from my account. They forgot to adjust the bars?? It is hard to follow your real earnings here with that crazy accounting system of theirs, I have no clue how much I exactly made the last months!

The glitch monsters are at work down in the dark internety room, but they sent a note up that said: Dear You, Me fix broken thing. Sorry for trouble. Love, Monsters.
They, and the site, will be back up soon. In the meantime, wed like to offer you 10% off your next purchase of 50 or more iStock credits using the coupon code below. -> They will have another reason to cut our earnings again!

From their last email:
So you know, we also have some transaction corrections that will result in additional amounts being added to contributors accounts. Clean-up requires some work, but that work is in progress. The amount is not highbut the point is that we are making progress and for those who were asking; yes, our review is producing adjustments and in the contributors favor.

surprise surprise: it took them 3 months to figure it out (the average accountant needs 3 days) but they "overpaid" us and will take it back:
Rather than take this amount out of your royalty balance in one adjustment we have decided to schedule the removal of these funds over a 6 month period.
Looks like we are not getting much the coming months. Still no proper explanation how this could have happened and I miss one phrase in this email: we are sorry!!
If you have any questions please contact us via our Contributor Relations Contact Ticket feature. Thinking of sending them a message about my underpayment: 15% sucks!

I'm on level 4 and was set back to level 1 by mistake for january. Since febr. back on level 1 again. When sales are constant, you cannot fall back from four to one in a month. Problems with their system, waiting for an answer since saterday.

PP up to the 16th of the month now. looks normal so far. What I noticed: I had regular sales all month, but no sales at all between december 24th and dec 29th like the site was closed. Anyone else the same pattern?
You mean no sales on Istock itself for those days? Seems pretty normal to me. Week between Christmas and New Years is always dead. I got a few sales, but less than on a typical Saturday.
I sell images on other sites too but none of them remained "as quiet" as IStock...

PP December is on the 3rd now....I'm so surprised to receive any money. I wonder what is going to happen next: they take it back as a "repossesion" for their october mess? Where is that email they were about to send out two weeks ago?

The 15% we "make" is the bottom royalty in this market! In case we redeemed enough credits we can even earn a whooping 16%. To reach the 16% we need to redeem 1500 credits. This is $ 1,750.71 in earnings. By that time IS earned their 85% and this is 11,671.43. Talking about making money!
