I don't know about iStock. But I recommend you try Shutterstock. Go to their forum, post 10 photos and ask for their feedbacks. You will learn tremendously by trying to get into Shutterstock even if you have no intention to contribute there. Once you are accepted by Shutterstock, you are ready for most microstock sites out there include iStock.

I'm sorry but I feel like you are asking the same question over and over again. I read most of the comments in this thread and other threads related to DPC, I thought this has been answered many times.

I made $250 a few months ago, just a simple shot of my feet.

Previouly Flickr Getty collection is considered as "in-house" collection. Those Flickr folks who got through previous program is now under in-house Moment collection. They are getting 20% (for RF). For this new partnership, Flickr collection will be considered as partner, not in-house. So they will be sharing the pie with Flickr. I'm not sure how much Getty pays their partners. Contributors will share their Getty income with Flickr.

Since last week, I was looking for some interior shots with photo frames on the wall. Since I want it to look not too generic, not the same popular images  that are spread across all all microstock site, I check out Stocksy as I know their images are exclusive, but nada, I can't find a thing. Getty has something, but no way I will support them.

I have one image that made me $7K in 3 years. Then I go on created a few hundreds more, many dont even sell at all. Seriously, if it's only that simple to give you the answer, I would have quitted my full time job now.

If I want to buy image, I won't go to uncurated site. It's a waste of time to comb through all mediocre photos or snapshots.
The experience is similar to looking for photos in Flickr or Google images, at least Flickr does offer most interesting, which somehow filter the craps out a little.

You have beautiful portfolio. You will do just fine.

This is great news. Several people I know have made sales on Crated.

Go to Dashboard then pricing. You have to mark up rather high to match your price on other POD sites. To me that's good because that meant my cut will be much higher if my work sold via crated.

Same here. I have second thought of my submitted photos.

The wrote somewhere on their website review will take 1-2 months.

I sent it my application and I can login to my Stocksy account almost on the very first day itself. I did update my paypal and other information. I'm sorry, I'm don't think the ability to update our profile considered as our application has been accepted?

I don't put my stock photos in there, only those artsy experimental pieces that have been sitting on my hard drive anyway. I have known a few people made sales there already. So, I will still be sticking around.

Unless you have different work office, VPN, tablet, smartphone, as long as you access from different IP addresses, you can contribute to their advertisement fund multiple times.

This is fun but wait, here's what I found. Perhaps we shouldn't click on it repetitively?

Goodness I hope this is not the only way in now. This is just plain creepy (it rings too close to playing hard to get and we might want you like stocksy does - really bad move in my opinion.). This is much more creepy than Stocksy. Almost like popularity contest.

However, there is a shortcut to get into Moment collection. You just need to contact one of the curators with 3 best images, then you are in. I don't know any current curators, but there is self-professed Getty fan-girl aka curator in the forum who seems too eager to get anyone in.
