Nothing strange, all regular here ... I just do not understand is the latest images accepted in Shutter. They have sales faster than before ... Perhaps coincidentally

What happened between March and April?
Following a review of Isa in another thread, I've been looking at levels of visits by leading banks in Alexa. And obviously something happened between March and April this year. In those months, both IS and FT down quite visits (see graph) to levels of late 2009 ...
Meanwhile, up 123rf, and a little Shutterstock. Dreamsteam is maintained with slight upward trend.
Meanwhile, medium-sized banks are also rising, especially Can and Deposit ... I do not think that affects a lot. But on the whole must be taken into account.
The traffic is not sales (ahem) but clearly a trend. And the question is, why went some buyers of IS and FT between March and April?
and ...what a coincidence! IS and FT were the two banks lowered their royalties to its contributors ... Will there be justice?...
...I think not. In FT and IS, we have less sales and less royalties ...

It's my first July in shutter, so I can not compare, but I do not notice the drop. He started a little slow, but now it is fine. Patience.
Last year in general, was not bad in July (DT, IS, 123).

Like most, minor changes from Lightroom for RAW files. I like the Lightroom interface that Photoshop Camera Raw. It is more intuitive. Retouching in Photoshop and the latest, the keywords in Bridge (for me it is more convenient to do so in groups, and especially for sorting, searching, ... files).

The issue is complicated keywords. First I think there are a lot of spam. But if the reviewers of the banks themselves sometimes contradict, what criteria will be an outsider?
I think the DT system is a mistake because encourages clowns who want to lose time. Banks have a consistency (ok, more or less), and photographer, is another. An example. If someone searches for Salvador Dali, is an overview of the village of Cadaqus, where he lived all his life. The town was very important to him. I think we should leave that image in Dal. If someone wants to do a story about the painter, will have to appear Cadaqus. This can not know one person who does not know the artist or the people. It is the responsibility of the photographer and the image bank. No one else. But that does not make sense is that someone complained that the picture below, have bad keywords beach and nobody. I think the DT system is wrong and a waste of time.

This is a thread on Istock or is it general?

My last climb had taken almost two weeks to be reviewed. It is not normal, it is always reviewed in a few days. So do not worry.
Ellerslie, 123RF acceptance is high, and much better sales. At least my experience having the same portfolio.

The best thing to do is, as I have said, send an email assistance. When you mark a picture as you can not exclusively take that option later. I have two as exclusive for a year and a half and not let me. There is a thread where I read it was for 2 years ... lucky!

I thought the topic was the buyers and Istock
I will explain my experience.
Anyone who has worked at an advertising agency or similar businesses know how this works. I am a freelance graphic designer for four years. Before I worked at different agencies for 14 years. And while working at an agency I wanted was effectiveness effectiveness effectiveness.
The price was based on the project and the client. Clearly, the higher quality, much better. But usually start looking images at eight o'clock, sleepy and wanted to go home and do not want to have a thousand chances or waste time. Sure, it's best to work with time, quietly, sipping coffee and listening to Bach. But few days I worked so ... You had the head behind the ear and the clock hand. And the customer on the phone ...
What you want is to put three words in the search box, choose the search mode and you're done. Do not waste time guessing prices, types of photos, Vetta, Photo + ... buf!!
Many years ago I worked with Corbis and Getty original. In recent years the agencies worked with Shutter and Istock, depending on the needs of customers. Honestly, now with Istock never work, except in some very very specific occasions. The plus they may have some images from Istock, will get a good photo retoucher, which exist in all the advertising agencies ... In Shutter there are also very good pictures.
Istock I think is in the definition. Do not know what they want to be. And I do not know what you want is the best way to be nothing.
That's my opinion ...

Stable and regular. I hardly have uploaded pictures this year.

I do not think my experience is significant, but explained. I got two exclusive images, and after a year and a half, the conclusion is not worth it. Still I can not take exclusivity. Finally, we must try everything ...
I think the problem is that the two images are not sufficiently different from others I have. Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps ... But non-exclusive images have been sold ... Beginner mistakes

My level of acceptance is growing slowly, but each batch is a little lottery (my photos are of trips). Once I have rejected a whole batch. Wait a week and resubmit. Never again reject it. It is part of the game.
What I do think is that there are too many images...

I do not think that is a problem of incompetence. I am admitted and new assessments take hours. The reason for the waiting of new contributors must be different. The disappointing sales, very below the BigStock or DP. I will not upload more, but I will not give low
