still, the whole problem with Midjourney AI is using other people's photos. when it comes to legal action, both Midjourney and AS wash their hands. I don't understand AS will accept these pictures when they don't even accept editorials.

The user interface is terrible. I also like to see the sales first, which of corse is most interesting.

The shot list is the least I need to know - and it takes up most of the page.

The bigget problem with services like WS is if they close down the business. Not that I think they will do - but what are the consequences? Will you still get royalties?

I'm I the only one finding this site totally confusing ..? Lots of old post (2019 and older) keep popping up everywhere and you can't find the new posts ... Totally confused and mystified ... >:(

Shutterstock.com / Sale have stopped?

Have others experienced that sales on Shutterstock have almost stalled?

New from iStock/Getty. What the h*** is this ...?

- Key changes to the legal language in the new, enhanced model release:

- The scope of the release now includes Biometric Data, and that content can be used for developing machine learning algorithms.

Depositphotos and Dreamstime are very, very low and slow earners. The good thing about Deposit is that the submission process is very smooth and quick. On the contrary Dreamstime is a drag - very complicated if you want to use all three catagories.

General Stock Discussion / Trademarks at FAA

Is it really ok to submit product images and trademarks to Fine Art America? On all other sites it's not allowed for commercial use.

Is Getty - as the only agency - not accepting Shutterstock model releases?

Totally crazy to make more than one release for peanuts ..! The Shutterstock release is even more extensive that that from Getty ....

Seagull shots are probably the best selling on Alamy

As well as ducks and flowers 😂

General Stock Discussion / Re: EyeEm

Every other site I can upload the metadata from the JPG for Eyeem I have to enter each word individually. I can't even copy and paste a block of text. Or have I missed something?

Yes - it's a bit of a drag to fill in the keywords one by one. And they also have AS and Alamy as partners. And AS don't accept duplicates so it's difficult. Do the parteners notice you if they have your images on their sites ..?

I have images on EyeEm. About half of my images are on EyeEm and the other half are on the EyeEm partners. It seems for me the only sales I get are from the partners. I have never had any sales on the EyeEm only. The sales are fairly good on the partner sites.

Ok - but I am at Alamy and Adobe. Wonder how you get at EyeEm ... let's see what happens ...

General Stock Discussion / EyeEm

I can't understand the system at EyeEm. My images are released for sale - but not at EyeEm ..? Maybe at EyeEm 'partners' ...??? What's going on? I have tried to communicate with EyeEm but I don't understand  their answers. Can somebody enlighten me?

Your images are too dull. You have to lean how to get them to pop up ...!

Enclosed just a quick example.  :)

Bye bye SS sales. Thanks for trashing my income by letting in all the junk from people who can just about operate a shutter, let alone compose an image. Thanks for making a mockery of all the people who have worked hard at composing, editing and earning the right to be accepted for years into the catalogue. Thank you for making an utter pig's ear of the whole site, your poor security allowing easy theft of images.

Thank you so much for nothing. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Absolutely. It's redicolous. And  they can't even operate a shutter - they only just about know how to push the right button on a smartphone! There is tons and tons of that shi* coming in like a tide wave at Shutterstock with awkward underexposed images.

Artificially inflating keywords leads to spamming and irrelevant searches.

Isn't it so on all sites ..?

I'm not sure how much the QC rank counts for anything, but maybe someone knows better.
A lot of things on Alamy don't actually count for anything, e.g. 'discoverability' (causes more harm than good).

What do you mean by that ..?
