white balance looks off on the majority of the photos, they are a bit 'warm' and you shoot with on camera flash, which gives you horrible results if it is the only flash you use or if not diffused

pauws, doesnt mean that what they see for their port isnt true, but i agree, to take one result and then assume it is true for everyone is silly

robin, do you think its better to be an unnamed image seller on google than on shutterstock?

baldrick is spot on. but by all means people stop uploading. better for me

511
why dont you sell the new ones? because between last year and now 50 million images were added. my guess is buyers find images they need and they are not yours. as for someone buying similar images from your portfolio, probably they have bookmarked you. i know some buyers have my portfolio bookmarked for specific images.

513
i have seen this as well,  images need time to settle in and then take off, dunno how it works, but happens like that

looking at your port, you have about 10 different images, and october is 4 days old, so yes, you wont have any sales, seems about right

Shutterstock.com / Re: Important question for EL in SS
« on: October 03, 2016, 09:15 »
OP, if you opt out of image sales it means that your port will be hidden from the image search, so the answer is, if you opt out for sales, your images will not be for sale for any licence

522
you can report them, but ss wont do anything about it. i had images rejected and pointed out to ss that they had accepted similar images already, but they said that what happened in the past is no guarantee for the future. i guess its the same for spammy titels, if you report it, theyll brush it aside

523
OP, the answer is in your own question. if you upload 1 million images today, they would make you 333,333 dollar in a few years

if you use a release without a date it has little value. stop moaning,  their agency their rules. abide or piss off
